  1. Two calls overturned. He's the only guy having a worst day than Keuchel.
  2. I'll always agree to not swinging at bad pitches.
  3. Tony fast on the phone. I'm guessing rotary dial?
  4. So all they have to do is leave the bat on their shoulder for one pitch and all that changes?
  5. https://flipboard.com/@nbcsportschi/video-nlkmhnusz/tim-anderson-crushes-the-first-pitch-he-sees-for-a-home-run/a-UAB85bZPQ62g3SfkN928JQ%3Aa%3A2519954204-a796fea063%2Fnbcsports.com?format=amp
  6. Yeah, fall behind in the count instead.
  7. Instead of Pick to Click we should play Pick to Dick. Which Sox to player is most likely to cause the loss?
  8. Especially with so many other options available.
  9. Well that tie game didn't last long.
  10. This should be a t-shirt
  11. I'm enjoying them more and more.
  12. The union is in a tough position. In the most pejorative sense critics will ask is the union worried that future players who enjoy choking women unconscious will receive even longer suspensions? It's tough to find a path in to protect players from potential career ending suspensions without defending their actions. In this case someone who enjoys choking people unconscious. I think the two years makes more sense as a starting point for negotiations than what MLB believes will work. Perhaps the union can make a statement that based on the CBA, union guidelines, etc they are required to offer the following assistance as they have with other players. We do not condone the behavior but etc etc etc The real possibility is he accidentally kills someone. Could you image this M Lol B presser? Hey we knew this guys gets off choking women unconscious, we thought he knew what he was doing, but he got a little carried away and this one died. We are confident it was consensual and the grand jury will not be pursuing charges.

Parents. My mom mentioned a friend's son made the local house league all star game. The lady asked my mom if I ever did. My mom said no. Hey mom, maybe you could have added because I made the traveling team and we crushed the all star teams every time we played? They came to a road race I ran. Mom asked why I didn't finish with everyone else. Mom, I was finished a couple minutes ago, you missed it. BTW I won. ?
  14. That's a really good point about it being a starting point for negotiations. This is splitting hairs but it's really not the owners, it's MLB. The Dodgers are an interested party. I'm not certain how much input the other team owners had, or should have had, in the decision.
  15. I'm thinking big offense today, Sox putting double digits on the board. Of course they will still lose 10-13.

Exactly. Everytime we bail out an industry or corporation send money to everyone. Tax breaks for lowering carbon emissions? Send everyone money. Incentives to move jobs back to the US? Send everyone money! Hurricane hit Florida? Send everyone money! I always did like your figuring G-7. Now when are you going put a six shooter in your pocket??
  17. 1 When they are flying above him it's tough to commit an error
  18. I get criticized here but to me baseball in cold weather wasn't fun to play, isn't fun to attend, and isn't fun to watch. The owners extended the season to 162 games so they could make more money. Start April 15 and add more Saturday doubleheaders then end the regular season mid September. Baseball is a summer sports not an early and late winter sport.
  19. Or not playing when it's colder than 45°
  20. The Dodgers and baseball's problem is if he wins the appeal the protests and advertiser boycotts that would follow him playing would be more expensive than his contract. That's there biggest issue. It's not just a Dodger issue. I could see each team tossing in $2 mil and telling him to go away.
  21. There were guys that received zero games for doing the same. At one time what a man did with his property was his business so beat your wife it's your business and she's your property. Times change. Punishments change.

At least in Texas those fees are set by the government, at least at the Universities they own and run.
