  1. I tried to fix it - hopefully I didn't screw anything up.
  2. QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 11:36 AM) I am confused. A 40-hr wk pharmacist makes over $100K/yr yet during the strike managers & technicians will pick up the slack? Are all managers at Walgreens qualified to fill prescriptions? The hardest part of the job is reading the doctor's handwriting. That's worth $100K/yr? And they are striking? From what I have heard about this, it isn't about pay it is about staffing. Working in a company that is severly understaffed, it sucks.
  3. QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 01:13 PM) And here it is ON SOXTALK and the same thing is happening.. Please.. call a spade a spade. There are b****ers, whiners, and jerkoffs on BOTH sites. I may not care too much for WSI, but Steff is spot on here.
  4. QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 01:10 PM) Your wedding guests will understand if you're a bit tardy. A good friend of ours got married on 10/30 last which would have been the 7th game of the WS had there been one and he is a huge Cardinals fan. He warned everyone that he wouldn't be at the reception if there was a game 7 too.
  5. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 12:56 PM) How's game 7 of the WS, is everyone free? Depends what date it falls on
  6. Those were posted on a Jeff Burton board I frequent. Sad, but hopefully no one was injured in the storm.
  7. Got my August 5th Sox-Mariners tickets with parking pass yesterday in the mail! Woohoo!!! Now to order 9/24/05 Sox-Twinks tickets!!!!
  8. QUOTE(Texsox @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 07:35 AM) I wonder when the last future All-Star for All-Star trade happened? When was the last time the White Sox had 4 all-stars? It might have already been answered, so if it was...sorry!
  9. QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 08:01 AM) Keith has a nice ring on his finger.. What does his wedding ring have to do with this?

    A funny..

    LMAO at both of 'em!
  11. I've been to the drag strip that is next door - LOVE IT! We were planning on trying to get tickets, but never did (we were hoping his sister would give us her free tickets - oh well). Have a blast and can ya get me a Jeff Burton autograph lol?
  12. I am praying that my aunt and uncle and their two sons have already moved back to Ireland. They had been living in London for the last 10-15 years or so and are moving back to Ireland (Dublin, I think) this summer. for all killed, injured and affected by these blasts.
  13. That was cool - Hawk and DJ and Mike.....YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
  14. We have a couple of Capris in our garage...err...wrong type of Capris. We have a dress code that is kind of enforced. Don't show up looking like you are out for a day on the beach and you should be okay (technically it is business casual, but some of our cust. service people don't quite wear business casual).

    Interesting Wake

QUOTE(Stocking @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 03:36 PM) my grandmother buried my grandfather with an oldstyle (yes he was a cub fan) and a pack of smokes. "thats all he ever wanted" she said. We buried my grampa with a pack of smokes, a fishing reel and there was something else I can't remember (probably something related to either the American Legion or Polish Legion). My dad wanted to send him off with a can of beer, but my gramma would have hit the ceiling.
  16. QUOTE(Hideaway Lights @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 03:21 PM) AddisonSt - as a record label owner, producer and recording artist myself, I would take you to task for your views on music piracy but I don't want to derail this thread. Why not start one in SL&P? It would make for good conversation, I think,
  17. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 02:55 PM) Sounds like George is having a rough birthday... this blurb is currently on Drudge What was he watching the first episode of The West Wing?
  18. I hate corporate America. They "laid off" the receptionist yesterday. The receptionist was with the company for 22 years and is about 61 years old. Does she get any thing for 22 years of service? No, just a thank you and don't let the door hit you on the ass. They are figuring out today that she did more than just being a receptionist. Too bad they don't think before they act - they should have learned after the last time they did that (about 3 months ago). My co-workers should stop being my friend at this company as they seem to get axed quicker that way. Oh and the receptionist was replaced with an automated attendant. I have already had several complaints about that from customers.
  19. It's suddenly gotten slow on me...the bastards!!! lol
