Happy bday guys!

Brain starts his new/old job today (it's his second stint with this company). That means back to 2nd shift. He worked the second shift for about 10 years, did the first shift for about 6 months and then the last year and a half was the 3rd shift. It was weird having input on where someone else will work. He wanted to know if I wanted him on 2nd or 3rd as well as helping to weigh the consequences. My head is killing me and I think I have a fever. Doesn't help I am getting anxious about finding out what the dentist is going to do about my cracked molar (it is cracked half way down the side).

The idea of dying from a toothache is making me nervous. I go in at 5:30 tonight to deal with my cracked molar. I have never had a cracked tooth so I do not know what to expect. From what two people have said, it will have to be pulled. I hope the dentist has a remedy that doesn't call for pulling the tooth, but I know my luck and I doubt there is.

Ding dong most of the brackets are gone! All on the top and four on the bottom are gone - rest come off on 3/15. There was only one downside - my back right molar is cracked. I think this happened Tuesday and partially from the result of me clenching my jaw in my sleep (sometimes I wake up with the worst jaw ache from doing that).

This sucks. I just had a bracket pull away from my left fang. I was supposed to be arranging the removal of all braces in two weeks and now I have to go tomorrow and pay $80 to have the stupid freaking thing replastered to my tooth. I guess better here than while I was in CA the last few days.

We didn't have dental care between the ages of 7 and about 18. It wasn't provided by either of my parents' jobs and it was more than my parents could pay out of pocket. I ended up having a root canal from a lost filling that I took too long in replacing. Other than that, my sister didn't have one cavity and my brother (I think) had one or two. It sucked, but now I have my own insurance I got braces (due to get them off soon) and go every 6 months.

Or send it into outer space, wait, no. It might come back in 3000 .

We were flying in from Long Beach, CA and our path took us near the Kansas storm that spit out the tornados. We went over one edge of the storm and while doing that I could see lightening from the top side of the clouds so I was watching lightening and stars at the same time. At one point I was able to see the lightening from the cloud side as well as hitting the ground. Oh, and being able to watch TV while flying home rocked (Jet blue has 36 channels of direct tv).

I am guessing the 21 died of engine disease as well. Just once I would like Jeff B to not piss himself at the end of a race. Grrrr. I know, 4th is good but when you are 2nd with 4 laps, finishing 4th can feel like a disappointment. I have to confess feeling a little happiness when Havawreck ended up with a flat at the end.

Sens - Slugs had some serious action last night apparently. Chris Neil brushed against/slammed into someone on the Slugs and an all out brawl ensued - 100 PIM was handed out as well as 3 ejections. Also, in other news my much loved Eric Cole is out two weeks with an injury (hip I think - as long as it has nothing to do with his neck, I am cool with it).

Oh so many jokes could be made from this line considering the story...
