Brash is a HUGE goon. He picked a fight with one of the Canes last season (I think one of the Addams Family) and they tried to make it some race thing. Come to think about it, I am fairly certain it was Kevin (one of the captains) that he took a cheap shot at and knocked out of the game and later one of the other guys threw the gloves down with Brash at the end of the game for retailiation.

I like seeing Shanahan getting his ass handed to him lol. After some things that went down in the playoffs last year between the Sabres and the Canes, I lost a lot of respect for them - before then, I actually cheerer for them. As it turns out the Canes play the Penguins tonight. I hope the Canes can actually leave with all their players this time.

I never had a problem with the Flyers until last night. Now I hold them in the same esteem as I do the Penguins and the Slugs (aka Sabres).

Oh yeah it has. So far she hasn't had any problems with crime (coming from living around the corner from the fire department I guess), but my aunt who still lives in Riverdale has been robbed several times in the last few years though.

1. I've only met one member from soxtalk. 2. My dad was born in Ireland and didn't come to Chicago until he was 22. 3. I have four hamsters (Peanut, Fuzzy, Squeeky and Stinky IV) - the only pets I have ever had were hamsters. 4. I am a huge Queen fan and am stoked about Johnny Depp being pegged to play Freddy Mercury in a movie being made by Robert Deniro's company in conjuction with Brian May and Roger Taylor. 5. My husband owns 15 cars and yes we live in the city - all but two are where we live. Rooftop - my aunt lives in Cal Park (my grandparents' old house)

Brian and I are looking at adopting a dog. We have two picked out - one already has an application on him and the other is still available. The one that is available looks identical to the dog that Brian grew up with - must be a sign. I've never had a dog before, but always wanted one. We would have to go through the application process and then if we meet approval on that, we have to have a home inspection so we are still a ways off. The dog is a Border Collie, Belgian Shepherd Dog and Sheepdog Mix. Here is what he looks like:

Brian actually get a 4 day weekend together. Considering what's going on at his company, I am surprised they gave them Tuesday off as well as Monday.

My coworker is dismantling some equipment that will be remantled in Barbados so we are trying to figure that one out. Kinda fun since neither of us really know that much about motors.

If I have a piece of equipment that states on it's power label the following: Power: 480V 60Hz 3phase Line Current: (amps per phase) 33.0 Does that mean it needs 99.0 amps (33.0 x 3 phases) or 11.0 amps (33.0 / 3)? I think it is 99.0 amps. Am I correct?

The only shopping I have left is groceries for the Christmas Eve dinner party we are having. Merry Christmas back at ya!
