  1. Yeah, I got it to work, but because of my work connection it was a bit choppy.
  2. Gotta hope - only chance I have of seeing this unless it is repeated in its entirety tonight somewhere.
  3. I don't think it will click in until they start broadcasting it. I think it is just in a holding pattern now.
  4. For those at work: LIVE VIDEO: World Series Ring Ceremony Watch the ring ceremony where the 2005 World Champion White Sox will receive their long-awaited bling. It's live on NBC5.com, starting at about 12:30 p.m. More Details: >
  5. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Apr 4, 2006 -> 10:54 AM) Reminds me of the old Dave Allen at Large sign off, "Thank you, good night, and may your God go with you." My mom and I were talking about his show the other night while discussing the new Dr Who series. I love the old Dave Allen shows (the skit about the "spare" for the pope chair was one of my favorites).
  6. QUOTE(Texsox @ Apr 4, 2006 -> 11:04 AM) There are 10 kinds of people in this world, those that understand binary, and those that don't.
  7. QUOTE(bulokis @ Apr 4, 2006 -> 08:20 AM) Im at work but definitely will watch some of it. Go sox! I am at work as well and since my mom is on vacation this week she is on call (ie call me when something happens in the game that yahoo doesn't let you know). It really sucks that after 1PM I cannot get in here until I get home.
  8. This is all I could think about today!!! GO WHITE SOX!
  9. Thanks for sharing! Being a HUGE Queen fan, I really like the montage they put together for with "We Are The Champions." Seeing Konerko's GS, the mob on the mound after the last out of the WS and thinking about the last 2 months or so of 2005 is completely overwhelming for me.
  10. QUOTE(AssHatSoxFan @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 09:25 AM) when the camera was just locked into the covered up banners i was just moaning to myself that i was probably missing the great video I was thinking the same thing.
  11. I fell asleep at about 10:30 last night (tried staying awake, but fell asleep). So glad I got to see a replay of his homerun from the ESPN site! Yahoo had a nice article about him and what he did while running the bases (eye contact with the players, etc).
  12. I wish Jeff could get wrecked and still get a top 10. When he gets wrecked, he gets wrecked. Lady luck has been nothing short of a b**** when it comes to the 21 and 31 teams.
  13. And of course DW tried to make an excuse for Dumbo by saying he had brake issues. Those brakes seem just fine.
  14. Do not read this post if you have issues with cuss words. With that out of the way... . . . [vent] f*** YOU Kurt Busch! You are a no-talent hack you stupid son of a f***ing c*** b****! Again, f*** YOU Kurt Busch!!!!! [/vent] There....now I feel much better.
  15. Started out the day by rescuing a hamster from a pet store (he's been there for about a year and we felt bad for him), bought Brian a ton of mountain dew (sale at Cub), watching the race and then settling in for White Sox pre-game and then game. Oh yeah, and I have ziti going in the slow cooker. ETA - not watching the race anymore, thank you Dumbass, I mean Dumbo (learn to drive Busch, you freaking idiot)
  16. I got a kick out of that as well.
  17. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 04:59 PM) There will be a total of 3 runs scored tomorrow. LOL! That's what I have been thinking.
  18. QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 07:11 PM) Ugh... bless you parental units. Ditto to that!
  19. You guys are so lucky - I wish I could go! I will cheer at home (and I think I may manage to get Brain to cheer for the Sox too - he was actually asking what day opening day for them was and who they were playing!).
  20. QUOTE(The Critic @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 09:52 AM) My daughter's fish died today. First time I had to console her over a dead pet. It was really sad. I feel so bad for her. Poor kid! Are you getting her a new one?
  21. QUOTE(The Critic @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 09:49 AM) OMG, poor Freddie Mercury! That overbite was horrible!! Makes me love my overbite all the more...maybe I shouldn't get the teeth pulled to correct it LOL! (kidding!) I didn't recognize him at all in that picture.
  22. QUOTE(EvilMonkey @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 02:57 PM) How do they get home loans without that? My previos house was in a once-in-a-hundred-years flood plane, and I had to get flood insurance before they would give me a loan. Youwould think the mortgage companies would demand it before shelling out the big bucks. Well, we should tell them all to follow their houses off the cliff into the ocean, or into the crevase, because we shouldn't be bailing them out either. Ditto on the flood plane insurance thing - which thankfully they took away in my area - that crap was about $1K for a years' worth of insurance. I, too, am surprised that they can get the house without earthquake insurance of some sort.
  23. With the Dan Ryan Construction beginning, I suggest leaving the night before to get there on time lol. (So glad I do not take the DR to get to the park when I go.)
  24. I said the same thing when I heard about the color of the new line.
