QUOTE(RME JICO @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 05:10 AM) That is a pretty funny article. LMAO!!!! -
That would be awesome if he does. How long until Kurt b**** is put into the wall hard by almost the entire field?

Brian and I are talking about moving to Raleigh near the NC State campus (wouldn't happen for quite some time). We went to a football game and a basketball game last year (and then 2 Canes games - honeymoon) and the fans were great.

On 93.9 they talked to someone who was either a dispatcher in Chicago or married to one and said they have to dispatch help when a kid calls as well as immediatly call back to see if they can get a hold of someone else while help was arriving. From the recording it sounded like two different women. If it was, both should be fired and at least the second one should be brought up on negligent homicide charges. I realize there are many pranks, but this was a little kid that called. Send at least a patrol car and call back.

I used to love those, then I think I burned out on them as I cannot even look at them any more.

QUOTE(G&T @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 07:39 PM) That song and that music video are the epitomy of "funny bad." I can't believe someone would steal, and I'll bet Dolby is the most surprised guy in all of this. That's what I thought of the lyrics when I yahooed them and then read them.

There is one good thing that came out of this. I found the title and the singer of the song that they use in Mythbuster commercials lol.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 12:55 PM) Chicken -- Popeyes Cars - Mercury Also, I agree with Rock - Matt's Chocolate Chips (and their Oatmeal cookies) trump all other cookies of those types. I will only buy those occasionally because I know I will mow through them.

One I think that is a certainty is "Crazy Little Thing Called Love." "Killer Queen", "You're my best friend" and "A Kind of Magic" are definite maybes. Some one is bound to try to sing (and butcher undoubtedly) "Bohemian Rhapsody". I'd like someone to try "Dreamer's Ball," "Save Me" or "Spread Your Wings."

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 12:45 PM) 2 fairly quick outs to start this inning So does that mean it is in reverse? -

This team seems to be concentrating too much on the long ball so far. -
Happy bday!

QUOTE(The Critic @ Apr 8, 2006 -> 11:52 AM) You liked the one with Paul Rodgers.... LOL! I was waiting for you to post that! Hell, it allowed me to see Brian and Roger in person so it was well worth it!

QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Apr 6, 2006 -> 07:55 AM) I love the music of Queen, and they are one of the HUGE reasons I started playing seriously way back in '77. It's also the reason I am torn on if I will watch the show or not. I am not so sure I can watch these people butcher the songs, as pretty much all of them will do. I have a feeling Chris will do "Stone Cold Crazy" because he knows Metallica's version. Bucky will probably shoot for "Tie Your Mother Down", "Fat Bottomed Girls" or something of the sort. I expect Ace will go for "Bohemian" so he can use his eyebrows to their fullest extent. Mercury did do a ton of fancy vocal stuff, but there is also plenty in the catalogue to do. Remember, Brian sang quite a bit of stuff also, and Roger Taylor's voice would actually suit somebody like Bucky quite well, so Bucky could even do "I'm In Love With My Car" or "Fight From The Inside" and get away with it. Let's just see one of these hacks attempt "Mustapha". I don't know if I can stomach watching that either. I do not watch AI, but I might tune in for a few minutes here and there just to see what songs they select. I fear for any of them that think they can take on a "Freddy" song. I have yet to really like any of the Queen remakes I have heard.

So it begins. The two teeth are now sitting in a little box on my banister (trying to get a couple bucks for them from the Brain haha). I cannot talk for a couple hours as I have to bite down on the gauze. I have a couple tylenol w/ codeine (sp?) to take if the pain is too much when the novacaine wears off. Starting to now...kinda scared as I do now know what to expct, but I am thinking it will hurt like a b**** (but please do not swell PLEASE!!!). Tomorrow I get to call the ortho to make the appointment and then chew the receptionist out (well, not really but definitely question that joke of a bill I received).

Oh, and there isn't a damned think wrong with cars from around 1971 . (Sorry, couldn't avoid making that comment considering how many circa 1970 cars are in my back yard/garage lol.)

QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Apr 5, 2006 -> 08:23 PM) It's all relative. A blue collar worker may think $2000 is a hell of a lot for a diamond ring. That is roughly what Brain paid for mine (he made me pick it out). Chick showed us a $5K ring at first; no way in hell was I gonna wear a ring worth that much (I know how clutzy I am lol .

QUOTE(Soxpranos @ Apr 5, 2006 -> 07:01 PM) Seems guys pressing a little to much, we will be ok now that all the hoopla is over with. This is exactly what I thought was going on these last two games. They looked good (to me in any sense) Sunday, just seems they were pressuring themselves to each be the "hero" instead of playing ball. They will get it turned around in KC.

NBC5.com did as well (only way I could see it being at work).
