Apparently Jeff B is still ticked at Gordon, but doesn't think he should get that much of a penalty for shoving Kenseth. When Burton pulled up next to the altercation, I seriously thought he was going to jump out and help Kenseth. After reading an article that was on either jayski or that's racin' (about JB still being ticked at JG), I am starting to think he was going to and decided against it at the last minute. I think Nascar needs a fight like the one Cale Yarborough and whatshisface got into years back after wrecking each other on the front stretch at Daytona (I think it was Daytona anyhow lol).

I've had braces for two years and this is to fix the overbite - it was this or 40K worth of jaw surgery (the kind where you go into a hospital - the whole kit and kaboodle). I had 4 wisdom teeth out about 4 years ago - two were partially below the gum line as well as beneath the teeth next to them - many complications and the worst experience of my life - dentally speaking. These two are up front (3 from the front tooth on each side up top). Well, I am going in on 4/6 at 6PM to have this done. Hopefully no complications. Now off to work with my ass (and the rest of me).

Who has had to have healthy teeth yanked? I have to schedule a double extraction for sometime in the near future (left a message with the dentist Friday and they get in this morning at about 11 - will call at about 3 or so if I don't hear back before then). I really don't want to do this or have these freaking braces on for another 8 months post extraction (which is costing me an additional grand), but I don't think I have much of a choice in this. So, for how long will my mouth hurt? What is it like when the dentist is pulling the tooth? Is there anything I should do prior to the appointment (take a couple tylenol, valium, a fifth of Jack) to ease some of the pain and discomfort post extraction? I picked the wrong lent to give up drinking .

Freaking nuts! Before this race, Burton was 11th and now thanks to a certain someone, Burton is 18th. Will his f***ing bad luck ever change?

I wonder where Harvick will be racing next year (or as some of the rumors go, later this year). f***ING RAIN! That is all. lol

I would like to take this opportunity to talk about how much orthodontists and insurance SUCK!!! My insurance only covers 24 months of treatment and next month makes 24 months. Orthodontist tells me today I need to have 2 teeth pulled (bicuspids - sp?) or have surgery that costs 40K. Okay, for obvious reasons I select having two teeth ripped out of my head. I then ask how much longer after the teeth are ripped out of my gourd. He tells me 8 more months. My thoughts are something like this: #%@&*!&%*&@%$%$. So then I stroll up to the receptionist to drop off my records and find out if I have a balance left (as of last month I was under the impression I was paid off and the f***ing brackets were going to be removed circa June, yeah, of this year). Well, then I find out about the insurance bulls*** which means I have to pay out of pocket for the remaining months - $125 a f***ing month. When I got home, I ran the numbers and while it won't hurt too much, it still pisses me off to no f***ing end. He is the one treating me. Why not have me get the upper two pulled while he was straightening out the bottoms (at that point what room I had on the bottom should have been readily apparent, hell it was to me and I don't have a degree in straightening teeth)? If that had been done, I would be rapidly approaching done now and not costing me what amounts to another freaking grand. :banghead I had to pick this Lent to giving up alcohol, didn't I? A glass of wine (or 6) would have went down so smoothly tonight.

My brother (4.0 student with his associates in arts) applied to UIC and was turned down and they refused to tell him why (he had his app in well in advance, the courses all transfer over - same courses I took before going to UIC). Kinda stinks.

Here's to crossing fingers that I get to the concert and back in one piece so I can hand over the keys to the car I borrowed in the interim to my SIL.
