  1. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Mar 28, 2005 -> 11:49 PM) I see how it is :fyou wite Dude, would you bet on yourself in a fight against qwerty?
  2. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Mar 28, 2005 -> 09:26 PM) That's the most beautiful similie I've ever seen. Even more beautiful then me?
  3. Not that I care or anything, but is there any way we could get Johan Santana to be our player rep?
  4. All of them have their reasons as to why they are horrible. For starters, I have no idea why Dodd has Edwards going to Cleveland. You build teams around QB's, not WR's. Also, Erasmus James, while he has top 10 talent, does not have top 10 health to go along with it. He will be a first rounder, but with his proneness to injury, he will probably go in the mid to late 1st round. Also, if Mike Williams is available, there is no way Minnesota passes him up at 7. Detroit really has no need for a CB at all, so Pac Man makes little sense there. Clayton ahead of Williamson makes very little sense to me, but that's also because I have Williamson above Clayton. And I would like for someone to explain to me why he has Swancutt going in the first round? Swancutt might not go on the first day, let alone the first round. I also see no way that Jacksonville takes anything other then a defensive end in the first round, especially with Cody on the board there, and I could even see them have their first 2 selections be defensive ends, and then I would also even expect another DE to be taken late in the draft for insurance. I also see no way how Corey Webster goes in round 1, ahead of guys like Justin Miller, Fabian Washington, Marlin Jackson, and Brandon Browner. Prisco's seems reasonable up until about 7, where, again, Minnesota would take Mike Williams there in a second...but what makes it worse is that he has WILLIAMSON there...not that Williamson isn't a very solid player, but just that he is not as good as Williams. I don't see any way Washington would pass up Williams at 9, but I guess they can. 10 is too high for Dan Cody, by about 10 spots. Then the second worst pick comes up(the worst being Swancutt)...RODDY WHITE AT 12? ARE YOU F'N KIDDING ME? Roddy White is a second rounder...not a top 15 pick. And then he has San Diego picking White over Williams...which is even worse. I also don't see Johnson falling to 14, because he is almost guaranteed a top 10 pick. Again Jacksonville will almost assuredly take a defense end at 21. I don't see Spears falling to 22, let alone past Jacksonville. I don't see Reggie Brown as a first rounder, though I guess he could be if Roddy White is gone at 12. I see things wrong with Judge's, but nothing nearly as bad as the other two. I am honestly wondering if Dodd and Prisco did any research on this at all, or if they just threw names into a bucket and grabbed them out. Horrible, just horrible mocks.
  5. I'm going to say a little more solidification on defense, drafting Marcus Spears.
  6. I wonder Does Jabroni think Ozuna is gonna make the team? I can't tell.
  7. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Mar 27, 2005 -> 11:06 AM) Ship was running behind a horrible cardinals team, now that they have an actual pass attack and he doesnt have to worry about Emmit Smith id think he at least deserves a shot. ...as a backup If he is on the team, I can almost guarantee he won't start.
  8. I got McPherson winning ROY personally anyways.
  9. We gotta streaker in the building
  10. And the collective group of metalheads is now saying 'WTF IS THIS?!'
  11. I am gonna say Troy Williamson...they could use another receiver, and while I think he is too high here, I think about the only player a team would trade up to get here is Derrick Johnson.
  12. SNR will probably be going on the air at around 10 or 11 PM tonight, CT. Tune in and give the guys an email. The link to the broadcast is http://66.117.2.27:8102/listen.pls The email address to send questions to is [email protected] And of course, if you want to send the questions directly to them, just send them an IM at SOXandROLL on AIM. EDIT: You can tune in now too...they are playing some music. Right now, Metallica - Disposable Heroes
  13. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Mar 26, 2005 -> 07:23 PM) No one is crying, trust me. The WV faithful are of course. And some people do like the underdogs, and seeing a player with a last name like Pittsnogle just go off is pretty fun too. People may not be crying, but they may be a little upset that there was no upset. Louisville just played a hell of a game. That was incredible, quite frankly.
  14. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Mar 26, 2005 -> 12:11 PM) yes he didnt play because of an injury thats why i said maybe take an insurance guy with a later RB pick or A-Train who will suffice for a year. Marcel Shipp also has a career 4.0 yard per carry average, and hasn't rushed for 900 yards in his 2 years of playing. He is probably a good backup, but not a good enough starter...therefore, they will probably take JJ Arrington in the second round.

    Ozuna

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Mar 26, 2005 -> 11:39 AM) Ozuna is 30. ^^^ Ross Gload hit well in the minors in 03, but as a 28 year old, you're not going to consider him a prospect. Therefore, Ozuna is a bench player.
  16. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Mar 26, 2005 -> 11:44 AM) everyone keeps saying how they need a RB but i really think Marcel Shipp is a good RB and if they wanted to add an insurance guy they can either take a RB in the 3rd-4th round or hell even sign the A-Train. Marcel Shipp? You do know he didn't play last year, right? I also do not see them taking a RB...they have a more pressing need at CB, and they really like Arrington...so that is the way I think they will go.
  17. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Mar 26, 2005 -> 03:16 AM) You have seen Buehrle pitch and you seem to know that Buehrle is an ace or at least an extremely strong #2 so why doesn't Sheehan see this? There is a medium in between there...that is about where Buehrle fits on most teams. A #1, but not an ace. We have talked about it before.
  18. QUOTE(TheDybber @ Mar 24, 2005 -> 09:40 AM) Alright, kids. People hate Duke because Duke wins. Plain and simple. Not because of JJ Redick. Not because of Shelden Williams. I hate Duke because they win (but I like Coach K, strange). Just like I dislike Kansas, Kentucky, and UNC. Because they all win, except for Kansas this year. Not really I dont like Kansas, UNC, and Duke because of the general feeling I get from the fans...it is the same reason I dont like the Cubs, Red Sox, and Yankees. You think I don't like the Cubs because they win? About the only teams I hate because they win are the Twins and Patriots...I'm a White Sox fan and a Bills fan...so I think that the reasoning behind that is obvious. I also hate UNC, Duke, and almost every other ACC team because I hate the ACC.
  19. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Mar 26, 2005 -> 01:35 AM) If it was anybody else, I would have just deleted the thread... But I like these... I had to change the topic title though. So... agreed To me, hi8is seems like the guy who is drunk as hell and just cocks the s*** out of everybody, but everyone still likes him because they know he is just like a big cuddly teddy bear and means no harm.
  20. QUOTE(hi8is @ Mar 26, 2005 -> 01:12 AM) My friend of a friends uncle has a wart on his ass... and that wart on his ass knows a MAJOR PLAYER IN THE WHITE SOX ORGINIZATION! This made me laugh
  21. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 10:38 PM) The Vikings are going to have these 5 linebackers if they draft DJ. I predict a trade down. Johnson, Cowart, Thomas, Henderson, Harris. A trade down if that is the board, yes. Like I said though...even though that board is a possibility, I do not see that board.
