  1. Where's that shake head smiley when you need it? Hawk isn't "gay" for saying Pat Burrell is a good looking young man. Hell, Gash called himself handsom, I believe....is he gay with himself? You'll just have to ask him Regardless, Hawk is one of the best commentators of all time. He is one of the few guys that could actually call a game by himself and the game would still be fun. He is, as one person put it, a play-by-play guy AND a color commentator.
  2. I actually couldn't. I can't imagine that happening to any team.....until now.
  3. If only it were April or June, I could say.... Hey, this ain't the White Sox you're talking about now
  4. ....except Beavis and Butthead
  5. Its Beavis!!! Nothing wrong with that....except that I'd probably be the biggest dumbass in the world Yeah but he is funny! That he is I think Beavis and Butthead was the greatest cartoon ever created, as far as pure comedy goes. Nothing beats that. One of the best shows created, period. Cartoons or not............... Yeah, probably. It's just too damn bad that Mike Judge started making King of the Hill and stopped making Beavis and Butthead. He would have made more money with Beavis and Butthead, so why stop? I can't think of many shows that I have liked more then Beavis and Butthead, now that I think of it. Maybe it is the greatest show ever. Which is why I thankful for Kazaa....a beautiful thing it is. You can download episodes of B&Bhead.

  7. Who is a f***ing idiot? It's in green. It's sarcasm. It's a joke. Take it as a joke

  9. I don't know who said it, but what they said was pretty much true, in saying that Vick will most likely not be 100% at any time this year. His leg will be fine, but he will not be ready for play. The missed practice and no game speed games will hurt him in the end. Then again, look at what Steve McNair did last year. He probably practiced like 5 times after week 5 or so, if that even, and he had the best year of his career. Maybe Vick will come back and do that. But I highly doubt it.
  10. Were you that dude with the sox hat in your avatar way back when? Nope, that was Kris Honel
  11. 5'9'', 140, blonde hair If we ever get our pictures scanned from the wedding we went to, Ill post a pic.
  12. I havent given up on us winning the division. However, i do know our team sucks, either way. I wouldn't say they suck. I would just say that they really don't have the team to win a division. It's not talent, because they have plenty of that. They just haven't gelled, and we as a team have not gelled when the games actually meant something since 2000. If that's what you want to call sucking...I guess you can call it that. If they were in any other division, they wouldn't stand a chance(because they would get rolled up by the Yaanks, Red Sox, Mariners, and A's, and you can't put them in an NL division, because they probably would not have the same team that they do now). If we do win the division, it is because we are lucky, not sucky.
  13. I am not going to give up until the magic number is 0 for either the Twins or the Royals. People don't realize that we do have 14 games left with the Royals and Twinks. We win 10 of those 14(which is very possible), and we got a helluva chance to win the division. I hate to say this(because it is an old saying and is so blatantly obvious it hurts), but it ain't over till it's over. I just want those who have given up on this season get ready for crow if we do in fact win the division. I've got my plate and fork ready if we are in fact done too.
  14. Ok, I finally did play it, and I bought it as well. Definately a totally different game then NCAA04, so if you were saying to yourself "I'm not gonna get Madden because it will be the same as NCAA04", you are lying to yourself. This game is tight. It is a lot harder, but is a lot more fun then NCAA. In NCAA, you can go bomb all the f***ing time, and constantly get like 350 yards rushing and 400 passing yards in 1 game. Let me just say this....Madden is very realistic., The commentary is very bad, and is usually wrong(I'd have to say that it is wrong 50% of the time....Michaels will say "there's a 4 or 5 yard gain" and when the screen comes up, it'll be 2nd and 4 or something like that, and sometimes Madden just rambles on and on and on). But it is a fun game.
  15. So which baserunning is worse, Ruben Rivera's against the DBacks, or Cust's against the Yankees?

    Gotta love this song

Holy s***, can you be any more obessessed with that goddamn song? I'm sorry, but you've posted about it like 3 times. I love Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd and Smoke on the water by Deep Purple, but I don't go "post whoring" about the two songs. I'd rather have you talking about feeling chicks boobs instead of talking about Blinded by the Light.
  17. That's sounds great to me. Regardless, even though the numbers work out in our favor, the game is not played on paper. We've found that out the past 3 years.
  18. Anyways, the one point I'd like to bring up is this. Does anyone remember what happened to Bart before his past two starts? I do. In the 8th inning in his game against KC, he had some kind of injury. Am I the only one who thinks that that injury may be affecting him still?

    Adkins

We did in 1993. Jason Bere And then he turned to s*** like, what, 2 or 3 years later? I know in 94 he was great....but he wasn't great for much longer after that. He then returned to the Cubs, where he blew chunks, and he signed with the Indians in the offseason. I think his shoulder then got cut open. Also....a player that came up and contributed right away...I don't know how much you put into 2000, but Buehrle did contribute quite quickly.
  20. Valentin is as good as gone, assuming we don't exercise his option. Graffy could be resigned...he's cheap, and he's a good utility player. Colon's as good as gone Everett..... Both Alomars.....my best guess....both are gone. Flash....has an option(like $1.5 mill). He'll be here next year Daubach is too(like he's getting any PT anyways)....Lee is arb eligible, but I believe he can turn it down if he chooses, so he could become a FA too. Basically, that could be a lot of draft picks we get next year. If I'm thinking right, that could be a win-win situation. Either we get a ton of draft picks, or we get a bunch of guys back(because we'd have to offer them arbitration to get the draft picks, and if they resign, we have them for next year....works in my book)

    ESPN GAMER

It's still fun as hell. And if you know that they're about to say something stupid, pause it, unpause it, and *voila*, they stop. That's what I do when I give up a touchdown and I get pissed off....because the fight song always comes on after that. Pause, and it stops.
  22. Same here Though I could just stare for hours at that ass. Once again, CubsSuck....nicely done with the ass in the sig. I never get tired of saying that. That is, I believe, the greatest ass on the face of the planet. What a magnificent ass.
  23. It was falling intonation throughout this entire sentence. "High fly ball belted deep right field... and Geoff Jenkins has done it again" That's it. That's classic. That made my day(when Chimp called that, although you recalling it was nice too). I can't remember if we won or lost....it was all worth it in the end.
