Successor to KW? I'll go out on a limb and say.... Kenny Williams. Not that don't I want him here....but I have a theory on KW. He is a good ass-kisser.

Hot and dry. If the humidity is down....it could bite like a motherf***er. Then again...they were talking about his stuff in ST being better than they'd ever seen it. ST in Arizona is a b****....that is thick ass air up/down there. I hope Garland wins again. The only teams he's beaten this year have been good and the only teams he's lost to have been bad teams. I wouldn't mind if that streak kept up tomorrow...but come next week, that streak better end.

We accomlished something tonight. We won a game. We haven't done that since last Thursday. That is a long ass time ago.

I'll take either Graffy or Miles. Jimenez...when struggling, like he is now, just plays with no heart, and he doesn't care about anything. And though Harris has good range at 2B...he sucks offensively. If Graffy gets on 6 times a night like he did tonight....that'd make the answer a whole lot easier. For kicks and giggles....I'll take Graffy.

baggs....from what I understand, Everett is not a guy that likes to play CF, meaning Lee's tenure in Chicago would end. I'm with Jas on this one....if we make this deal, Lee goes somewhere else to bring in atleast a solid starter. Ship him to Baltimore for Ponson. Garland for Everett and Lee for Ponson...in this case....are moves I'd make. Normally...I wouldn't make either. However....Everett brings a lefty stick to the middle of the lineup....something we need...and he gives us good defense in LF, probably better than CLee's...or so I hope. Ponson then just fills in Garland's shoes. I hadn't even considered that possibility.

Sorry....but you don't go from not hitting anything for about 4 straight games to hitting everything that is thrown up there hard somewhere on the field by luck. I don't think this was a lucky win. We had Jerry managing....not KW, or KW telling Jerry what to do. If KW was still doing what he had been doing...calling shots from above....do you think the lineup would have had 7 guys out of their normal spots?

I don't know. With this organization....you just never know. The way I see it....there are some guys...hell, I'll go out on a limb and say a lot of guys that go public right before they get fired or lose their job. It's just the fact that most of the time, their story has been published and is known throughout the sporting community, and when they go public, the scandal of the thing they did is what they talk about. KW really never addressed the issue of losing his job, or anything like that.

I'm still in shock of this lineup. Only Jerry Manuel could put together a lineup like this. I'm thinking the lineup tomorrow should be the same as today's....with the only possible substitution being DJ in the 8 hole where Valentin hits. I'd also get someone, anyone out there in CF in place of Harris. He's been up here a week and already his average is .059. He's either a AAAAer, or he'll figure it out somewhere else or at some other time. Right now....he isn't major league quality.

Kipper became the good pitcher he has been with Pittsburgh( ) last year....wasn't he 25 or so? Jon's only 23. Let him develop.

I agree with that. He has built this team and made it a potential contender. He just isn't a good manager.

Agreed...this guy, with his sinker, could be one of the better pitchers in the game someday. He's just got to learn to trust his stuff.

As I said....Jerry Manuel is managing the team again. This is comedic. Don't ask why....I'm just in a good mood tonight seeing Frank batting #2 and just plain seeing how f***ed up our lineup is.

I am not sure. I thoerize that he kissed ass right at the end and they are giving him a second chance. He f***s up again....like he has in the past, acting as "manager", and I think he is gone. There is no third chance with this guy. I wouldn't mind him being gone though.

Holy s***....just look at the lineup. We 6 or 7 guys hitting out of their regular spots in the lineup. Graffy batting leadoff is questionable....but I count that as out of order. It's just like we're gonna start off with the #2 guy in the order right away....and Harris is leading off, with Valentin hitting 9th. I see one thing I like in this lineup though. Jimenez has been benched.

Agreed. I want Ward gone ASAP. I'm still trying to soak in the fact that Thomas is batting 2nd tonight. Wow....that's strictly Jerry's decision. Maybe KW will keep his job....he kissed some major ass and he said he wouldn't manage the team and abuse his power. If he sticks to being a GM...he could be good. If he tries to take over total control....well, I'd take me over him in that instance. I also find it funny that a team will get no-hit and still win. That would suck to be the losing pitcher.

Hell no baggs...this is the jersey we've had our best luck in. We've won a total of 2 divisions in about 12 years of wearing this jersey. That's better luck than any other jersey we've worn.
