He took steroids so that he would bunt with power. That way, the ball would get to 3rd base faster and hence he would get out more often than not. :headshake

I think it is the correct thing to do, to go with as many pitchers possible. We all know Contreras on his good day will last 6 innings, Garland could go 8 innings one day and then be out in 2 innings the next day, El Duque could have his right arm in his left arm while pitching any given day and Buerhle, while declared ok now as per latest update, could still have lingering issues.

Steff Replying to your question about how others feel about Jose, even before this hearing I became a huge fan of Jose for coming out and spilling the beans. Sure he wrote he book for the money, but I rather they solve this darn thing right now. And thank God he came out with this to get some pressure on MLB. The fockers deserve this. If HRs go down, baseball will be more fun to watch when they play it the right way. Also, Mark M is an asshole. And Soso is a freaking idiot too. Big Frank deserves to get props. He should hopefully get his first ballot HOF when he comes up for induction.

Who will we trade from the prospects dept to get someone at mid season? I feel our minor league system is barren after the trades the last few years Unless we give up someone big like BMac, who do we have to give that someone else might want for a vet?

When people talk about our power numbers last year they forget Frank and Maggs (our mashers to most general public) only accounted for 27 homers. I don't think 200 -220 is unreachable. You cannot count Maggs as 9 since he was injured. We lost 30 HRs with Maggs. That is the correct way to analyze it.

Since Grilli is technically not a White Sox player anymore as soon as this deal occured, isn't this thread also non-Pale Hose talk?
