  1. Maybe he's a huge fan of the Twins' reliever?
  2. Did he just throw a strike trying to throw an intentional walk?
  3. Put Sheets down.
  4. Oops pretty much the best team to rest him against. Just kind of half paying attention these days. Can't remember the last game actually focused in on for the entire time.
  5. Very lonely place Gordo when you can't lay off or hit a high fastball, also...and unfortunately we now have to listen to you until JR dies.
  6. Kopech is almost done tonight. Completely lost out there.
  7. Trade Grandal now after he just dramatically raised his CS rate lol.
  8. Brilliant analysis...Gordo.
  9. He was off the bag. Originally safe.
  10. Kopech is way way short with his stuff tonight. Never seen him at 93-94 in the second inning b4.
  11. How many times can Beckham keep saying professional at bat? Ohtani heading for another 10+ strikeout performance...wonder if the Sox sunk $500-600 million into him if attendance would even reach 27,500 with another 88-92 loss team?
  12. Kopech just seems mentally beaten up and the physical isn't far behind. Somehow escaped the inning but already with another high pitch count. Like many Sox, seems almost like he doesn't want to be out there on the field by his body language. A little of that Jon Garland aloofness.
  13. Ofc the Braves are continuing to beat up on the Twins.
  14. Ward and Walsh started out super hot last year for Angels too. Then there's the ongoing mystery of Jo Adell.
  15. Bonds Steroids Era treatment... except Trout is right behind him.
  16. Barely missed that one...Trout. Kopech's was just 95 mph and absolutely center cut with very little movement.
  17. Make that 12 career-wise. Pretty sure 9th on the season over 440 feet.
  18. Ohtani something like 11 homers and a career 1.079 ops versus White Sox for his career.
  19. Take that GQ! He's not the most misunderstood...only Top 10-15.
  20. https://global.espn.com/mlb/insider/story/_/id/37919320/mlb-draft-best-draft-class-ever-all-30-teams Of course the White Sox have one of the 2-3 worst "best draft classes" of all MLB teams... shocker.
  21. Trading the real Burger for a complete nothing Burger is par for the course. Semien and Narvaez both made huge leaps defensively away from the Sox. He’s one of the VERY few players the fans actually seem to enjoy cheering for in a current cold streak. The only way you trade Burger is you’re sure about Montgomery or Ramos at third…and/or SS. And there’s absolutely no way the Sox can feel that way at this point. https://www.mlb.com/news/white-sox-outfielder-luis-robert-jr-compared-to-mike-trout Merkin is only three years late bringing this puff piece back to the forefront again.
  22. Elly de la Cruz=$65,000 at age 16/17 Tatis was well under $1 million. You have to keep taking your lottery ticket shots at those youngest guys who are not 100% developed physically and that will peak later in their teenage years.
  23. Hence, no SoxFest. They care far more about negative PR/perception than what the fanbase actually wants. Even Ricketts has been like a Profiles in Courage Award winner compared to the Sox triumvirate of power.
  24. Soto is under control through next season, so 2 1/2 years and potentially 3 postseasons for 5 organizational Top 10 guys with four of them at one point being legit Top 3-35 MiLB and Abrams Gore and now James Wood Top 3-10. Clevinger for CLE is what feels like the going rate for Cease right now... that was a pretty significant overpay in hindsight due to injuries.
  25. And to be accurate, it's not GQ as an entity or editorial comment on sports, it's one feature writer who doesn't seem to be remotely close to Fegan in Sox knowledge...that someone is dredging up cultural and racial issues because they sell. If that wasn't the case, there wouldn't have been one thousand articles dissecting Angel Reese and Caitlyn Clark.
