  1. Next project, the bullpen and resurrecting Reynaldo and Burdi.
  2. Denny Hocking? Lew Ford? Blanco? Nick Punto?
  3. Almost everyone in this much better line-up is contributing tonight. That said, it's the Tigers at home, and we really should have swept them, but oh well.
  4. What has been the exit velo on Vaughn's doubles this year? Line drives? High and lofted into gaps? It's a big strange that he and Robert so far only have one homer between them, but then I'm sure that will change again in late May and early June when the ball really starts to fly out. Madrigal might even get 2-3.
  5. But how is the question? Is there space for him still when Engel returns? Would have to look at the roster again. Ideally, you'd have Vaughn starting, Leury and Engel as back-ups/defensive replacements, Yermin, then Collins. Seems to fit.
  6. White Sox doubles hitting machine...sometimes, that's better than homers, seems more good things happen when there are baserunners, actually. LEURY GARCIA. HoFer. We always knew he had it in him. Furcalito!!!
  7. Need a key hit with RISP to make this more of a comfortable game...hopefully save Hendriks for the weekend series against CLE.
  8. This is strange with Fulmer coming into the game for Boyd. That would suck for DET if they couldn't get max value trading him this summer.
  9. Leury Garcia will play 145-150 games and put Jimenez on the bench when he returns ... just PHer, definitely not defensive replacement, haha.
  10. Well, now we're going to end up playing until midnight or 1 a.m. in front of pretty much nobody...
  11. Stalker? LOL. Must be trying to get KyLle's massive Bitcoin stash.
  12. Why didn't they start this DH much earlier on a getaway day when crowds/gate don't matter that much?
  13. https://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=bat&lg=all&qual=50&type=8&season=2021&month=0&season1=2021&ind=0&team=0&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=0&startdate=2021-01-01&enddate=2021-12-31&sort=20,a Well, here's the list of some of the players who are actually WORSE than Leury on offense this year. LaRussa must believe that Leury's actually peak Rafael Furcal, and goes on similar hot streaks.
  14. Garcia must be one of the worst hitters in baseball ever to get two starts in a DHer. Yeah yeah, I know, he's now suddenly the most clutch-iest hitter on the team.
  15. DL'ed for unspecified reasons. Lost his last start against Marlins, gave up 4 runs in 5 IP, 8 k's.
  16. Not sure what Lamb was looking for, but the shadows will be the reason...
  17. Shadows affecting the hitters. Not a professional at-bat by Abreu to leave Moncada still at second.
  18. Anderson really fortunate Grossman not safe there...almost threw it into his shoetops. That would have been a disaster.
  19. Still throwing 96-97 but Candelario is dangerous...first walk. 36 k’s, 9 walks in 24+ innings of work.
  20. Career high 12 strikeouts... NC State with Trea Turner, not UNC...need to correct radio guys. And please don’t get cute and put Heuer in to save it.
  21. Great is not 93-94 mph anymore, that’s less than Carson Fulmer. His secondary stuff just isn’t consistent enough, and FB/split not dominant.
  22. I thought we only had one poster with poop in every other post, lol.
  23. His third poor or at best average start in a row. They’re going to Andrew Miller him.
