Abreu is really doing a great job of driving fastballs with authority to RCF this year...shades of The Carlos Quentin. -

Danny Duffy, 10 consecutive starts with 5 hits or less....on quite a run. Team record for KC is 11, happened back in 1973. -

Rex Hudler hammering Lopez on the lack of movement on his pitches, particularly the FB. Pointing out the obvious observation that the Royals are the best fastball hitting team in the league and near the bottom against breaking pitches. -

Lopez needs to be throwing 96-100 out of the bullpen. Throwing 92-95 as a starter is just so ordinary right now in the big leagues. -

Engel looking like the "bad" but comfortably .304 OBP version of himself we've come to know and be largely indifferent to. Except for his hustle and defensive play. -

LUIS ROBERT STARRING AS LA PANTERA. Coming to a theatre near you. That pitch was straight, elevated, perfect place for him to drive. Could have just as easily been an Eloy Jimenez swing to RCF. -

Duffy has 4th best BAA in MLB despite having only a 92-95 MPH heater...would be a great acquisition for our missing rotation member, but that's just so unlikely to happen within the division. -

Not much of an argument for 2021 about retaining EE, and that's all good because it keeps Hahn from trading Vaughn and relying on a veteran one year past his "sell by date." -

Missed an obvious called strike and marginal call on the checked swing, pitched around by burying him inside with the offspeed pitch to get him off balance, even if the pitch itself not exactly well executed. Positives for Lopez, extricating himself from 1st and 3rd, no outs. Not exactly El Duque vs. Boston, but we'll take it. -
White Sox Acquire Jarrod Dyson from PIT

https://www.instagram.com/danielfernandotatis/ https://fabwags.com/fernando-tatis-jrs-mother-maria-tatis/ https://www.facebook.com/daniel.fernandotatis.5 I can guarantee with 100% accuracy Daniel Fernando Tatis is way too young for Jerry Reinsdorf to sign. The only thing I can possibly think is that he might have a "half-brother" but that doesn't sound right, either. When the call comes for Bebo, it will take much longer to connect with everyone he needs to celebrate with. As Maria Tatis explains, their family goes everywhere together, in large numbers. Tatis Jr. grew up with four brothers and sisters. Multiple cousins and aunts and uncles were always around. They are known around their neighborhood as “Los Muchos” (The Many). https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/the-son-also-rises/ http://virales.mobi/2020/07/15/asi-luce-la-bella-madre-del-dominicano-fernando-tatis-jr-con-5-hijos/ The FOURTH brother is Joshua Fernando. Joshua Fernando Tatis (age 20) is currently listed at __27 Pall Mall St E, Kissimmee, 34758 Florida and is not affiliated to any political party. He is a Hispanic male registered to vote in Osceola County . -

https://celebs.infoseemedia.com/fernando-tatis-jr/ They're signing DANIEL? I think NOT. Actually, I thought there was a total of four brothers and then the one sister...but apparently it's just the three brothers and one sister. -

Poor Mariners, they're the only ones with a HUGE playoff absence left in the dust. At least Mr. Lewis is having a tremendous rookie campaign for them. -

Obviously they were competitive (and fell apart the last couple of weeks) in 2018. Last year, it seemed like the wheels were coming off and the writing was already on the wall with Maddon. We're not in ANY position to criticize the type of run they had until we have a 4-5 consecutive year one of our own. -

Kudos for talking about Cuban players without that somehow becoming political too...
