It would be typical White Sox if they traded for James Shields when there are about 5 other more obvious problems with the team. Albers/Duke Rollins against RHP Catchers not hitting Garcia/Lawrie cooling off Abreu, where did he go?

Not even sure why Avila's on the team anymore... If he's not a better option than Navarro. He obviously hasn't been hitting for power.

I'm not even sure I'd feel happy about JB Shuck hitting there, but he would have the best chance...comparatively.

You want to PH Avila there for him? Saladino? Our bench has no options to get a hit against Davis...

I think the most incredible element of this whole stretch (possibly 4-12) is that we still will be in 1st place by 1/2 and 1 game. But this team is seriously doubting itself at the moment...especially the bullpen. Self-induced losses over and over again.

And if they put Purke or Kahnle into the game and they get torched, everyone will be furious, too. That said, this Royals' line-up only has three legit hitters.
