This is kind of scary, between facing Bartolo Colon tomorrow and then going to Toronto, where we have NEVER played well... Defense letting the White Sox down again. Ramirez against Cespedes. Rios playing that into a double. Youkilis not calling off Flowers and helping him out. On paper, with our RS/RA average, we should be 15-17 games over .500. Defense costs the White Sox another run there.

It's almost like Ozzie with some of his favorite veterans. The only way to stop Ventura from losing all these games is for KW to somehow get Thornton off the roster.

There's just no way the White Sox can go into 2013 with Matt Thornton on the team. It's time...it came for Javy, Linebrink, Contreras, MacDougal, Linebrink. He's just a shadow of his former self. If nothing else, Ventura should never have tempted fate with the Oakland A's and Thornton in the same game twice.

Two out runs are killing us this season. Dammit.

Starting to feel like 2005 again with that huge break. DeAza pretty much misplayed that and then got bailed out by a freak bounce.

Have to bust Norris in like that....he hangs out too far over the plate and is vulnerable if he can't get his arms extended.

Flowers, Youkilis and especially Humber saved this game, at least for now. Good thing we didn't just dump him or bring up Axelrod for that role.

Yankees almost rallied to tie or go ahead but Granderson made an out with tying and winning runners at 2nd and 3rd. 6-5 Tigers.
