That's a VERY interesting move, considering how poorly he has pitched recently. As others have noted, they might be hesitant about using a Dunn (arguably the most consistent Knights' starter so far) if they're not currently on the 40 man roster, leaving the decision between Iriarte and White, who just got blasted in his last start for Charlotte after coming into the game with a sub 2.00 ERA. When were the White Sox ever in Nashville? After they left Vancouver...I hardly remember it, always think of them as the AA/Southern League team, whereas the White Sox had Birmingham for ages. The biggest factor was saving money by having all the minor league teams in the Carolinas/Virginia area...at one point even Bristol in the Appalachian League. Yeah, it was 1993-1997...when they were the White Sox AAA affiliate and Birmingham was the Southern League (Michael Jordan/Francona years).
