  1. When’s the last time an MLB Rule 5 pick was in that situation three weeks into a season in the 10th inning on the road in one of the most hostile environments in baseball? Starting the inning with the winning run on second and no outs…?
  2. I don’t. But where is the White Sox ethical line that they won’t dare cross? Maybe you could understand a playoff caliber baseball team like SD years ago where they hoped Clevinger would “put them over the top.” but the WS are not that team and don’t have any reason to be so desperate

Sheets has over 50 PA’s and blows away anyone and everyone on the Sox right now…despite no Merrill or Cronenworth for protection. Canario has had all of 20 at bats lol.
  4. Personally, I think Hayes is receiving advice from the Twins that it’s better for Keachsall that he doesn’t resent them for making that Fedde deal when he was injured and rehabbing from TJS…the reporting at the time all around baseball was that JR/Getz turned down the deal because they refused to help another Central team. So then why did the Sox make trades with the Royals??? Why would a team that was in “win now” mode like Minnesota last year not do the trade unless the White Sox had asked for W.Jenkins? Fedde was a Top 20 pitcher in all of baseball at the time of the trade and had a great contract as well. So the Twins decided to put their faith in Chris Paddack instead lol? Hayes’ reporting amusingly flip flopped from last August 2nd.

I suppose Gavin Sheets will draw a lol from you too? Being on a winning team I guess is laughable as well… so how many PA’s are meaningful to you?
  7. So JR is forcing Getz to provide him his now FOURTH separate shot with the Sox against his will? Why not Trevor Bauer, too?

The White Sox are now projected at 59-103 at Fangraphs. The Marlins at 69.8-92.2 and Rockies at 58-104 are the ONLY other teams below 70. The Angels Nationals and Pirates are the only teams projected at between 70-75 wins. The NL West has three teams at 7-9 games over .500…with the current fourth place team AZ projected to finish second. The AL Central is a combined -18.
  9. Miguel Vargas 14 TB / 20 games Luke Keaschall 5 TB / 2 games
  10. 37-14 record in them now... And, if they didn't sell, they would simply create another design.

26 almost 27...4-5 years younger than the average Sox outfielder.
  12. 32.4-129.6 to be exact. 20% winning pct
  13. We're not relocating to Nashville lol?
  14. No I'm talking about Vasil, our second Rule 5 guy on the roster...having him issue an intentional walk on the road in the bottom of the 10th. Too much pressure.
  15. 6-24 from last year is certainly do-able
  16. 32-130 pace for White Sox 26-136 pace for Rockies Rockies already changed hitting coaches back to former manager Clint Hurdle.
  17. Jackasses...you don't put a Rule 5 pick in that situation on the road in Boston. Get rid of Vargas Vaughn Maton Palacios lol...Baldwin also needs more defensive development. Rushed him. Nashville 7-13 with nary a starting pitcher in sight. Well...there's always Clevinger. Sheets 340/933 lol Wolkow 119/331
  18. caulfield12 replied to 2Deep's topic in Pale Hose Talk
256/952 3 homers/7 RBIs very solid defender But we get Palacios instead lol.
  19. That's the danger of the intentional walk.
  20. because anyone who only follows Sox these days would be on a suicide watch Moniak 256/952 12-11
  21. Now Boston with the lousy attempt to advance runners Going after Campbell. Avoiding the lhb
  22. Vasil has been good/great but hard to expect him to get out of this...
  23. Rockies were down 12-2...now 12-10 bottom of ninth.
  24. Warning track power lol. Fathom would have laughed at the idea that was going out at any point.
  25. So much for the heart of the order...
