  1. 11 in a row retired back to Sosa. The run that did score was put on base by a sun-aided Rojas double.
  2. They've made up for it with Baldwin Quero and Gonzalez being the most interesting hitters lol.
  3. 99.5 98.8 Hitter's challenge works again. 97.8 best to previous hitter. 107.5 ev off bat of Renfroe.
  4. Dalbec playing third is a bit of a change...instead of 1B/DH. Julks in...just can't quit him.
  5. Jacob Gonzalez most notable lineup change...along with Quero.
  6. Quero in the game now.
  7. 94.6 best FB for Eder...at least they have Statcast. 10 consecutive Sox batters retired by KC pitching. They must have been tasked with putting the most boring possible lineup out there.
  8. Eder strikes out Witt. 94.4 mph best FB so far.
  9. 26 pitches there in one inning. Pretty typical out of James.
  10. Karinchak at 93-94 and then out of the yard...
  11. Jang Won-young of IVE...K-pop star who is one of Fred Jewelers' Asian ambassadors. Also, Liu Yifei was just here in Wuhan (her hometown) at the Louis Vuitton store in the same mall recently...shopping for family and friends while the entire store was closed down just for her.
  12. $2000 USD up to $20000 is pretty much the average range for the majority of necklaces bracelets and rings.
  13. With a payroll of just $1.2 million, WNBA teams are immensely profitable with the new media rights deals they're in the process of working on...but they need to be liberated from negotiating together with NBA parent teams in many markets. That unwieldy structure is worse than the current MLB national media rights packaging even.
  14. Well, there are only 13 WNBA teams in the world...and one unique combination just happens to be owned by the future Sox majority owner's brother...and both brothers share a unique passion for basketball as well as baseball. Also, Chicago is the biggest remaining media market without a standalone 10,000+ BB-only stadium for the WNBA. Granted, it would make more sense to simply use the United Center...but that's arguably too big of a stadium to fill. And JR seems for some reason dramatically opposed to the idea. That said, utilizing GRF for soccer might be more logical. But not really exciting/interesting...and the stadium location and lack of any other activities around it at 35th and Shields makes it less palatable. Finally, the idea of a Bears/White Sox partnership seems to have completely evaporated into the ether.
  15. "only 7,246 miles...24,901 miles to go around the entire world once and end up at starting point" Jay Cuda
  16. Or they can try to tie in with the Chicago Sky/WNBA and a new stadium for them too....like the Mercury and Suns in Phoenix. Or the Reinsdorfs can change their perspective on the WNBA lol. They're already going to be at 15 teams with four cities (including Payton Manning/Nashville) fighting for spots 16 and 17 four to five years down the road from now.
  17. The highest the White Sox were ever valued by Forbes was $2.19 billion or $2.09 billion....pretty darned sure about that.
  18. Didn't get to TaylorStSox posts on Bauer and Clevinger yet...managed to sneak in a trip to FRED Jewelers just now for a necklace. So not searching all night...all Sunday here in China.
  19. That's what Chicago and Reinsdorf could have had if they played their cards right...more lakefront attractions to go along with a shiny new downtown-adjacent stadium. And people think I was just pulling the Melody Hobson 30% minority partnership completely out of my imagination...
  20. JayMoney8518 OP •2y ago "Jerry, George, and Mellody had dinner in a private room at Steak 48 a few weeks ago. It was all Sox talk." "let's just get wacky with it. LucasArts stadium is where they're moving and it's on the location of the museum the city missed out on and it's Star Wars themed" https://www.reddit.com/r/whitesox/comments/15ymkya/in_a_few_weeks_you_will_understand_why_i_posted/&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwiv4Ivvz9mLAxVQlq8BHZLiN_0QFnoECAcQAg&usg=AOvVaw33aHZ-6hH13Z0APQAxG9VG Never mind... The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is a museum founded by filmmaker George Lucas and his wife, businesswoman Mellody Hobson.[2] Once completed, the museum will hold all forms of visual storytelling, including painting, photography, sculpture, illustration, comic art, performance, and video. It is under construction in Exposition Park in Los Angeles, California.[3] The museum is expected to open in 2026.[4]
