That's why 2B is probably his "ideal" defensive spot. Or LF 1B DH. 50 pitches lol.

Little dirt strip from plate to mound now gone...pitchers hated it, hearkened back to stadiums 100 years ago.

What is Vargas doing? Bear claw throw triple bounce...first hop behind the mound.

So we're showcasing Jankowski for a trade? More likely is Venable is playing the lineup he trusts most to win as many games as possible...especially in the first half of the season to make a clean break from 2024 thoughts.

It would be nice for one Sox middle infield prospect to put up a 2-3 fWAR. Unfortunately his defense really needs to pick up in order to do that.

Jankowski when he was "good" was a .240ish hitter lol. At least Taylor has SOME occasional power.

Desperation with two outs and Jankowski up next.

Baldwin off to a nice start. Dingler couldn't hold on.

Doesn't say much for Lee's future/trade value when Thaiss has beaten him out for #1 catcher...

Keith now only 4/7 with a homer against Cannon. Change up looks good. Only throws it 18% of the time but it's arguably his best pitch.

The sad thing is he was arguably the #1 starter entering the spring.

Just not getting enough depth on his pitches. Quite fortunate to get the first out. White Sox worst defense in majors for DRS after Getz vowed to have one of the best defenses last year.

Tigers 10 1/3 ip 18 runs 21 hits vs Cannon

Maton being our fifth place hitter/DH and Thaiss getting a ton of playing time over Lee aren't bingo card selections most would have gone with on March 1st. Another would be Jankowski playing nearly every day... Also fwiw Omar Narvaez landed on his feet as well.

If anything...it might make JR give up more quickly. As for Ishbia, look at KKR. Down 10% just today...probably 20-25% already. It's a blood bath. KKR's competitors and similar companies include Brookfield Asset Management, ONEX, Apollo Global Management, Blackstone, The Carlyle Group and Bain Capital (used to be Mitt Romney). KKR (Kohlberg Kravis Roberts) is an investment firm that offers alternative asset management, capital markets, and insurance solutions. Just weeks and months ago...many of these PE firms were suggesting a new 50/30/20 rule of 50% stocks equities/stocks/aggressive growth mutual funds, 30% bonds, 20% PE funds, spac's/Bitcoin etc. 60% stocks and 40% bonds used to be the suggested mix...quite traditionally. Those firms highlighted above are taking it on the chin right now. Might want to ask Steve Cohen what he thinks...

Not even close to the same color as the Green Monster though...

Uh oh...they're going to have remove the Slam Ball/Schiffren bio from all local libraries.

Yakult

Tray is definitely not Executive Producer on that one.

That's how the Bulls are going to end up with someone nobody's ever heard of in a tanking year...owners like JR and the McCaskeys 10. Chicago Bulls: Collin Murray-Boyles, F, South Carolina The Nikola Vučević and Zach Collins era has to end soon when their contracts are off the books in 2026, right? Adding a frontcourt player is needed, so CMB makes a ton of sense. And Murray-Boyles operates like a defensive savant the way he locks down every position, uses his ninja-quick hands to swipe at the ball, and inhales rebounds. The offensive fit with Josh Giddey and Matas Buzelis could be a little clunky since Murray-Boyles is an unproven shooter, but he’s a bulldozer finisher with a playmaking feel. If he fixes his jumper, there’s All-Star upside yahoo sports mock draft 2

You'll get Jesse Chavez instead.

We're about as far as you can get from Bill Veeck...

No Giolito to get massacred.

Nashville invested everything into the Titans' new facility...
