At least Fletcher can actually throw. Game might be over already, though.

If they can get past Alabama...just might end up against Purdue for a spot in the championship game. Houston/Duke looks like the marquee match-up tmrw, theoretically leading to a match-up with UConn.

CBS must be getting a little worried. Lost AZ. Still have UCONN, obviously...but they're not exactly a ratings powerhouse. Might be the most underrated "mini-dynasty" program in recent memory, though. At any rate, they have to be really desperate for UNC to overcome 'Bama and Nate Oats. (Fwiw, the Brandon Miller Tide team had so much more NBA talent, but this is definitely a better college team, overall.)

2024 White Sox Opening Day thread 3/28 3:10 first pitch vs Detroit
Jay Cuda coming out of the long off-season with guns blazing, lol... Looks like the Twins are suddenly even more vulnerable with Lewis (quad, the Eloy/Moncada of their team) and Kepler already injured, to go along with Duran and DeSclafini. Really think it's going to be an interesting race with the AL Central winner closer to the 83-85 wins range. Yes, this gets said nearly EVERY year, but the lack of spending/improvement (other than DET and KC on the margins) is quite remarkable across the entire division.

He's also the ONLY pitcher returning from the Opening Day roster from one year ago...

Seems like he's overdoing the emotions in an attempt to hype up the team when there's very little reason to be excited about them...just a bit over the top for now, but surely it will wear thin after a month or two. He won't be able to easily sustain it. Kind of like Connor McKnight, but with a different sort of vibe.

And the Tigers were 13th last year offensively...let's see him against the East and West. (back to 2000 arguments about over extrapolating results from too many Central-padded numbers)

Burger Avi Anderson failed to get the big hit in extras too. Altogether non clutch for anyone Sox related...not that there were numerous scoring opprtunities out there.

Please write in for President if that will get him away from White Sox...not quite old enough though.

There's always lots of room to fall from 14th to 15th in offense ... granted, Skubal could easily win a Cy Young and will shut down numerous teams this year.

Burger and Anderson with four RBIs...Avi and Cronin figuring in as well. Burger DP just blew their opportunity for walk off though...
