March 28, 20242 yr Dunno if I missed the 2024 version of this thread, but looks like Royce Lewis already hurt again. Dude can't stay healthy.
March 31, 20242 yr AL Central with three undefeated teams and then the winless Royals and Sox. Not a shocker.
March 31, 20242 yr Rough one for Ober vs. the Royals today. Those 9 hits include 3 HR, a double, and a triple. Witt a double short of the cycle with 5 innings to play.
April 3, 20242 yr Byron Buxton nearly run over by a sprinting sausage yesterday in Milwaukee. The "Reverse Randall Simon" would have been a quite unfortunate method of injury for the injury-plagued Buxton: https://www.mlb.com/brewers/video/sausage-race-look-out-byron
April 4, 20242 yr Royals about to take 2/3 in Baltimore and probably should have won the first game too. Perhaps 90+ wins this season wasn’t the lock our orioles’ friends thought it was.

April 4, 20242 yr I've got Tigers and Mets on with Jason. Jason just feels like a hired gun. There's no real connection with the Tigers. Tigers are getting their ass kicked and he goes to break laughing about Mets fans enjoying a sun break. That's the sort of thing that just drives you nuts for the course of a season as a hardcore fan imo.
April 4, 20242 yr Twins don't even sell out their season opener against CLE. After breaking the post season losing streak and actually winning a series and the Central. 35000+ plus announced...real attendance closer to upper 20s/low 30s. Cutting $30,000,000 in salary not exactly exciting the fanbase. Edited April 4, 20242 yr by caulfield12

I feel like it was more they didn’t want to pay him at all and took best offer closest to season. Edited April 6, 20242 yr by Bob Sacamano

May 25, 20241 yr Guys ... give it up for Brother Rice's finest Mike Massey. I told u all we needed him, not fricking Lopez for 2B this season. Massey is over .290, six homers I believe, good defense. Tonight hit a 3-run bomb for KCR. Mike Massey looks like he might be one of BR's most successful sports grads ever if he keeps this up. He looks hitterish finally which is prolly a testament to KC's hitting coach. He's improved steadily. p.s. You folks gotta admit Br Rice is one, fine bastion of learning. Crusaders is a good nickname too IMO. Edited May 25, 20241 yr by greg775
