Certainly not more than they’re going to pay Cholowsky…then again, they’re out there on a limb on their assessment of Murakami now so maybe better to do nothing and wait for a legit shot caller. (IMO Yoshida Sasaki Okamoto Imai and Murakami got “floated up” in perceived value by the sheer transcendence of Ohtani and Yamamoto.)
