i dont collect cards or autographs or anything like that...i am on one quest..and with the sox that would be a lifetime quest...and thats to get every jersey they wore from every year i just started this last year because i have nothing to show as a collection...so i figured jerseys would be cool..i might add hats to it too.. so far i got a home and away from the current jerseys worn..and a road jersey from 1917 at sox fest i added the '83 win ugly road jersey with the 75th year patch on the sleeve...wore it all over soxfest...its an awesome looking jersey.. next i want to add the road jersey from the late 70's...the pajama jerseys with the big disco collar...cooperstown collection is gonna make a fortune off of me

i dont question sndy's skills..i question his health...his shoulder was so bad last year that he just one hopped throws to 2nd base..only throwing out 9% (im guessing , too lazy to look it up but im close) of the runners trying to steal...and his knees , i think if i saw sandy in shorts and looked at his knees i probably vomit...

if they actually vote in a DH position where the player has to play DH then thomas will almost be gaurenteed the pot...there just arnt any good DH right now... im almost ready to do away with the whole all star game...i must admit i dont watch anything but the home run derby right now...what we ought to do isset up a mid season classic with japan...best of 3 series in the middle of july...japan vrs USA...now id watch that

jackie did something that was great, but its like cheapening the idea of the medal of honor. i agree fact is there wasnt a black ballplayer alive at the time that wouldnt have traded places with jackie...nobody i know of would trade places with a medal of honor winner if they had to go through whatever it was the person went through to get the award...

i really dont think KW is going to add anyone else to this roster...atleast thats how he made it sound when he was on stage...he's really happy with what he has accomplished and he's gonna go with it....atleast thats what he intended to get out....if thats the case lets hope its enough

That's mildly scary, but at least helped by the fact that buerhle vouches for him. Still though, replace the hole in the 9 spot vacated by royce with another hole created by sandy. how did frank look? in shape? i didnt see frank....the line to get his autograph filled up about an hour before he got there..and he had a closed room just for him...HSC's kids stood in line about 3 hours to get his autograph..after the session i or nobody i was with saw him or if they did they didnt mention it...

id make every effrot too...

he was running down court on a fast break..jumped u p to catch a pass and when his foot hit the ground he was going forward full speed and his leg was completely straight and locked...his knee just buckled from the force of going forward so fast and no cushion because it was locked and straight...kind of like how marcus robinson hurt his leg two years ago...nobody around..just a fluke thing

buehrle said today on stage that he went to manuel and assured him that starting colon opening day was fine with him..that he considers colon an ace type pither and he is not one...said he didnt care if jerry put him in the 5th starters spot...whatever is best for the team is fine with him...

had a great time at sox fest...met up with about 20 posters from various boards and people ive met at comiskey before...couldnt drink cause im on medication for my surgery but there was plenty of alcohol and all had a good time... questions i asked...brian daubach...jerry seems to really like him..he stiopped just short of gaurenteeing him a roster spot..saying i cant gaurentee it but if brian performs like i he has before and i know he can this spring , he will make the team...jerry even said he plans on getting him more at bats than he got in boston...being the only lefty that will bat in the 3 through 9 spots..brian has a chance to get in the line up a lot.. talked about lack of speed at the top of the order and how that will effect how jerry manages...jerry said that while we dont have the superspeed at the top he believes this club overall is a much better base running team then last year (wonder if that means carlos wont play as much )...speed at other positions improved..look for him to bunt and hit and run a little more this year... this years line up off the top of jerry's head... jimenez- 2b (kenny and jerry feel he is finally back 100%) valentin -ss (jose is our SS this year) !! maggs rf paulie 1b thomas dh lee lf crede 3b (kenny and jerry both expecting alot from joe) rowand cf (they expect him to be ready - aaron says otherwise from another repot)..should be interesting alomar c (yes, jerry said sandy will be the starter - 5 days a week) mark buehrle said the best off season move was bring ing sandy back..that sandy was responsible fo alot of his success...said he has only thrown to josh a couple of time and never to olivo..but is real comfortable with sandy... colon long term...kenny said that he didnt trade for colon with the idea of not signing him long term...will work on it during the season...the better the team performs the better the chances of us signing colon long term...

i took my 5 year old last year ( he was 4 then) to the upper deck...big mistake...he was sitting on the ground underneth my seat holding my leg...spent the next 8 innings on the concorse in LF..dont tell a 5 year old that there is nothing wrong with the upper deck poor kid. in '00 and '01 we sat up there alot and it never bothered him...once he figured out how gravity works

Actually US Cellular bought out Primeco. It could have been alot worse our stadium could have been named after Primeco and have that stupod pink guy as its logo--lol. hopefully...us cellular doesnt pull an enron
