the posters who repsonded to the two threads i mention above...they seem to be pretty pissed off about what buehrle said.. ill count what i think are negative posts on the two threads...just a second ok im back 10 against 3 for there were other posters that nuetral...but the 10 against were pretty pissed..the worst one wants magglio to wrap his hands around buehrle's neck and tell him to shut up and pitch

yeah for now, wait in 3 or 4 yrs when he can go anywhere he wants too. evidently buehrle stole the show during the manuel , kw chat session when he showed up to a standing ovation from the fans...maybe that will sink in with KW that we pay to watch the players play and not him "generally manage"

well..after someone reported over there that buehrle came out during the KW interview to a standing ovation and said he plans to be in chicago for a very long time it got real quiet on those posts

they are giving buehrle some serious s*** because of those 4 little words he uttered at the baseball writer's banquet...they believe that KW offered mark "barry zito" money over 4 years..atleast the ones responding...they keep insisting thats what the papers say so it must be true...funny, they never believe the chicago press about anything else...they constantly rip the press on that site, except in this case...if anyone wants to wiegh in its under "buehrle's response" and "KW'S response to buehrle" mark is taking a beating over there...well maybe thats a little overboard ..but alot seem to be against him

ahh dont that take the f***ing cake... and to think we could have had him here.........damn it kw f***ed up again........... Not signing this was a f*** up? suppan is a much better pitcher than those numbers indicate...you dont get to 220 innings by sucking ..id almost be willing to bet my house that suppan's high era comes from the fact each and every outing he pitched well enough to win but was stretched out too far and/or done in by the bullpen.....i mean to rack up over 200 innings you cant have too many 2 or 3 innings starts...probably what happend is suppan would go 6 maybe 7 innings giving up 2 or 3 runs...then because KC's bullpen was the worst in baseball not named tampa bay they left him in there longer then lets jerry manuel would....so instead of 6 or 7 ip 3 runs he gets a line like 7 - 8 ip 6 runs...cause if anyone got on base while he was being stretched out they scored once the royals bullpen took over.. no one pitches 200-220 innings with that high of an era...there has to be some kind of extenuating circumstances but dont worry..he is with pittsburgh..im sure kenny can come with a deal...how about garland , wright and white for suppan

if we going with rauch i hope so..if he didnt tear up his shoulder i wouldnt be so worried...he looked good at the end of last season but one thing ive noticed about guys coming back from surgery is they get in streaks where they are their old self but then just as quick lose it for while...they get very inconsistent...how many pitchers coming from arm surgery, shoulder or elbow, actually get back 100%???..especially when they are that young and their arms arnt fully developed when the injury occurs..

yeah miguel was my boy down there and is now my boy up here.. at least till joey b gets his act together and makes the trip up....lol....now if only kw would just listen to me and bring on miles.... then we would be alright........lord knows i love that kid too.. and of course he traded my other guy valentine away.........still dont understand that one......but wait and see what he does in oakland.. hes going to be a hot one i tell ya....... thats funny on valentine...because jim said if he was still with the sox he would have rated valentine as the guy with the nastiest stuff...you got a good eye for judging the youngsters (lol)... thats why if you say yes on aaron miles then im hoping KW listens...i saw him only once and i was impressed too..im thinking david eckstein JR here..that kid can play..he just needs to have someone look past his lack of size and give him a chance

thats true...suppan was my pick too...but if these guys have something left in the tank they bring something of value...experience in pennant races and the playoffs...both these guys , if they are team type players , not sure on either , could be a good influence on buehrle as he takes the next step towards superstar status... its these types of decisions that will make or break KW...not the colon type deals...and as far as free agents go the 5th spot is the only one we have left...any other position if we signed a free agent to fill we would have to cut someone who's gaurenteed a major league contract..

good job HSC... jim, we do look forward to HSC's scouting report each year...she was very high on miguel olivo since '01 and she looks to be right on that one so remember the pressure is on when she is down there checking you out!! thanks for signing on here and good luck to year this year..looking forward to seeing you maybe as soon as this sept as a call up???...we will be pulling for you

how much can be too much???....no one else is gonna pay these guys more than a few million...is 2 or 3 million more to the payroll too much if it could mean the difference between first and second??...could imagine finley or rogers in the 5th spot??... KW could also entice them with a performance based laden contract...offer 400k with a huge upside of a couple million more than any team will offer them...if both thee guys are stil confident in their abilities they would take that kind of deal to get the big bucks in a buyers market...and if they arnt..then we dont want them..means they have realized they are done and are looking for one more payday... but if KW is sure either of these guys still has it...he should get one
