  1. Rodon is toast, I'll say that with confidence
  2. What, you don't think Eloy in the OF is a great replacement? ?
  3. Robert 0 for 3, 3 Ks vs NED, looks ready!
  4. and SO many people here defended it as if they were dying on that hill, which was so damn weird
  5. Somebody tell Moncada that if he's gonna continue to bat left handed, he needs to look outer third, Jesus Christ this has been the book on this dude for over 2 years, fast balls inside, soft garbage outer third, and he still fucking pulls the ball
  6. I will lay down real cash that they don't if you're down
  7. Giolito had enough success over the prior 2 years that every pitching coach in the game will believe they can fix him, so long as his physical comes back clean. He will bring back a decent package
  8. Halfway mark, I'd say there's a 90% chance he's traded
  9. Nobody is saying he should've been a first ballot hall of famer though. The Hall of Fame has hundreds of guys who made it on later ballots, who fit the criteria of "just very good"
  10. holy s%*# at some of those direct quotes, this team is fuc*** lmao
  11. Leury isn't gonna be sent to the minors/released lol Unless he's hurt or some drama goes down, he's our utility guy and I'm fine with it as long as he isnt asked to play every day
  12. This is a massive ongoing story TL;DR Train derailed in eastern OH carrying highly highly toxic/carcinogenic chemicals that are confirmed to be spewing into the Ohio River https://www.ehn.org/amp/train-derailment-ohio-2659412710
  13. The Sox aren't willing to take risks that /might/ guarantee them a playoff spot, but could also hamstring them financially Only a few ballclubs seem to be willing to do this (clubs like HOU, TB, STL, CLE have the minor league strength where they don't need to go all in on FAs to build perennial winners) (Not saying CLE is a perennial winner but they've been more successful in recent years than the Sox have and generally always rank higher in MiLB depth)
  14. injury prone team, lost their best hitter without a proper replacement, 75-80 wins max. pitching won't carry them all year
