QUOTE (zenryan @ Dec 8, 2013 -> 09:08 PM) well the other options arent that great for the Orange. Missouri cant since there are already 2 SEC teams in the BCS. Same for OK State. So it really comes down to Clemson,Oregon, Arizona St. and Clemson is most likely to bring the most people to Miami. I know the rules, but Clemson has proved basically nothing all year. -

Clemson gets an at-large berth in a BCS bowl? Glad that system is gone. -

QUOTE (dasox24 @ Dec 7, 2013 -> 11:24 PM) That was early in the season with a brand new QB and a young offense (only 1 senior starter, who's the FB). If those schools played right now, I don't think there's any question Auburn would beat LSU. Having said that, I wish Ohio St would have won simply because I didn't want AU in the National Championship. Hopefully the 'Noles take care of business. But Auburn is the luckiest team in the history of college football. They might just be a team of destiny. Funny you mention the fullback. I think his sole purpose is to perform cut blocks. I really hate that cut blocks are legal. Let's go flying at defenders knees with our heads, yeah that's OK. -

Finally the OSU fantasy tour comes to an end. This team simply isn't that good. They were very lucky to escape every single close game. The first team they played that has a pulse handily beat them. -

Just realized that FSU in the title game means the most annoying thing in sports: that stupid "song" 1000000000000 times. f*** -

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 6, 2013 -> 10:05 PM) This clinches the Heisman for Winston, right? Lynch never had a chance. He should lose New York with this though. -
QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 10:14 PM) Did they try to make it Far Cry 3'ish at least? Because I f***ing loved that game. Put at least 50 hours in to that baby. Yep. I haven't played Far Cry 3, but that's what they said they were trying to do.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 09:43 PM) All the other AC games were beatable in a week, if you just stuck to the story mode. Correct. This is the biggest AC game yet. Plus, this isn't the kind of game you'd want to just stick to the story mode. That's almost like just playing the story in GTA V. It's not quite that level, but it's closer than any previous AC game.

QUOTE (gatnom @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 07:27 PM) The problem isn't so much the amount of in state talent but the fact that Illinois gets essentially none of the top recruits in the state. Illinois is always going to have to fight for the leftovers in states like Ohio, but it would be extremely helpful if the few really good players in Illinois actually stayed. I understand that. That's why they've been bad in recent years. I'm just saying that even if/when they do get the top in-state talent that's not always good enough. It sometimes is. -
QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 02:30 PM) I can't figure out if I want to buy AC4 for $30 on Amazon, or just spend $10 to rent it for a week. I don't know how much of the side stuff you do in an AC game, but it's a f***ing massive game. I couldn't imagine playing it in a week to any level of satisfaction.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 02:21 PM) I never understood why. It's a basketball school yes, but as a kid my family tailgated every home game from the mid to late 80's to the late 90's and it was a decent program back then. They'd win some games, lose some games and usually end up in a decent bowl game (and lose, but still). Since then they've won a big ten championship and gone to 2 BCS bowls, so clearly you CAN win there. Wisconsin is what Illinois should aspire to be at this point. They were awful for a long time and then got a coach and stuck with him for a long time. I will say that Illinois high school football does not produce a lot of talent so if you're relying on that you're going to be up and down. I know they never would completely rely on in-state talent, but any state school is better when the in-state talent is better. Illinois is a basketball state, U of I reflects that. -

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 1, 2013 -> 01:02 PM) UCF has a bcs autobid. NIU doesn't need to be concerned about them If I understand it right they do because they need to be ahead of them for a top 14 BCS ranking to give NIU an automatic bid. -

As a Mizzou alum, I can't honestly see how a 1-loss SEC team would get in ahead of undefeated FSU/OSU. Undefeated is undefeated in a major conference. ESPN is hyping the 1-loss scenario, but someone needs to lose. MSU is fully capable to beat OSU, but that absolutely needs to happen. Some guy on ESPN was saying this is the worst Big Ten ever, which I think is wrong. I think it's a bit up from the past couple years. -

QUOTE (zenryan @ Nov 29, 2013 -> 03:39 PM) Fresno St and San Jose St have combined for 48 points in the first quarter. haha 83 by halftime and San Jose State opened the half by recovering an onside kick. This is great news for NIU fans. -
