I said it first. The updated new skin is just too dark for me. Plus the images don't look good, they look choppy.

I know there are more important things but...

You don't like it? Don't read those threads. -
Barons won 4-0. Spidale went 2-4 with a HR. Anderson went 2-4. Phillips with a great start, the 'other' Josh Fields and Brian McNichol sealed the shutout. Box Great Falls lost 8-2. Not much to note offensively, only 5 hits as a team. Ferny Alvarez went 2-4 w/a HR. Box Score

Knights won 11-7. Big offensive explosion. 3-5 for Valdez who continues to rake (he isn't a bag of balls). 2-5 and a HR for Nelson. 2-4 and a walk for Taylor who is batting .394. Aaron McNeal 4-5 with 2 HRs. 2 hits for Hankins and Aceves. Grilli rocked. Box Score Bristol lost 9-2. Novoa left the game after 1.1 innings, he walked 4. Box

I just screamed out WHAT THE f*** after that inexcusable play.

1st place at the end of the day no matter what!

What no Leeann Tweeden? She's the looker of the bunch. Garland needs to get back in the groove. He should be fine.
-
I'm sure they'll take pics from the road trip. This way it's unique stuff instead of pics we have in our sigs. It's slim pickings when it comes to minor league pics.
-
I decided to look her up on the net after I heard she was doing this. She has more revealing pics.

I'm guessing it's because they have to have the same audio for the commercials then switch back to being seperate. That's gotta be a b**** for the tech guys, but it shouldn't be that difficult.
-
Like I said in the game thread I'd rather see Leeann Tweeden in the corner of the tv and screw the audio. It's like snr without the swearing and bad nicknames.
-
Very WSIish.... Too much black and grey. What was wrong with what we had?
-
Players can say what they want, but the guy has struggled until has last couple starts. I just said it was possible. Thanks for pointing that out about the no-hitter, I don't know how I missed that.
-
This audio plus should be interesting. I'd say screw the audio and just show LeeAnn Tweeden in a little picture in picture box in the corner of the tv. Lucky ass Josh Beckett...WS MVP...Leeann Tweeden....damn

Well you got Thomas Brice. Is he going to be on Team Australia?
-
:fthecubs Prior has had some shaky 1st innings this year.
-
Yeah, it's much ado about nothing.
-
Pfft. That's ghey.
-
Woohoo, I got 12! How in the hell did that happen? I was in the back of the pack and then all of a sudden I have 12.

Always always always trade the guy that is in the lower level. This is why I hated trading Reed. He was so close to the bigs. I'd rather give 2 for 1 at lower levels than a guy in AAA (say Young/Brice/Nanita and Sweeney/Anderson instead of Reed). Granted they both started at W-S, but Anderson raked and Sweeney, well, Sweeney didn't. Meanwhile Anderson is off to a hot start in Bham. Sweeney may have more upside, but he has to hit better than .266 in high A before I'm convinced he's as good as advertised. He also has 0 power and after everyone who had Borchard over Reed because of his power I'd take the guy with power, Anderson. I'm not saying Sweeney sucks, and I'm not saying he is going to be a bust, but I'd always rather keep the more sure bet. In this case that is Anderson. BTW, good question. I see much debate going on about this question in the future like Reed/Borchard.

Top 10 Performances of the Week Rookies begin to make impact By Danny Santaromita Here are the top 10 performances of the week by White Sox minor leaguers. The rankings were based solely on statistics. This is the 7th week the list has been in existence. This week covers the games from July 5th through July 11th. This week there were so many great performances that I had to add an honorable mention category for a few of the players. HM. 7/11 Ryan Rodriguez, Kannapolis Intimidators 7.1 IP, 3 runs, 5 K, 1 BB, 3 hits (W) Rodriguez had an awesome week and showed the depth of the Kannapolis rotation. HM. 7/5 Chris Young, Kannapolis 4-4, 3B, 2B, 2 RBI, run, BB It’s hard not to notice a 4 hit game. Young was a HR away from the cycle and got his average up to .267. He has gone 3-24 since and his average has fallen to .255. HM. 7/5 Jose De Los Santos, Bristol 4-5, 2B, 5 RBI, 2 runs De Los Santos has been awesome this season for Bristol. The 19 year-old has seemingly come out of nowhere and has led everyone to ask one question: “Who is Jose De Los Santos?” The 19 year-old stands at 5’11” and is batting .417 while playing 2B, SS, and 3B. more....

Was this on ESPN or something? It wasn't in the TV guide and I swear they would advertise the hell out of it. And the Saints lost that game because of their stupid kicker. They shouldn't win best play when it was meaningless.
-
Yeah I got a link from that trade one while scouring the ESPN boards for Unit rumors. I was cracking up at that.
-
How about Timo toying with Zambrano at 1st and then Crede hits the next pitch out of the park? I was at that game, and that was priceless.
-
There have been so many rumors involving Nomar previously. So many rumors involving the Big Unit. Just take a gander around the Red Sox and DBacks ESPN message boards and you'll lose every thought of this being true.
