Mrs. Rubarb has already put up the Tree and decorations. That was a lot of fun! My thinking is people want it to look festive by Thanksgiving, now. For me it means I get to drink whiskey-laden eggnog earlier... (like I need an excuse)

I would have to go with Mo Vaughn vs Albert Belle as the one that sticks out in my mind from recent years. Belle put up great numbers in a strike shortened season in 1995 .317 50 HOMERS and 126 rbis and a 1.091 OPS in only 143 games and his Indians won 100 games that short year. But he was...and as an asshole. The writers went with, at the time mind you, a fan friendly choice of Mo Vaughn.
