Anyone else think BA has lost a step in the field? Not that he should've had that double, but he looks to have gained 10 pounds or so since 2006. I think that's helped his hitting, but his range factor is way down. I'm not sure that he gets to the gaps as well as he used to (I'm a huge BA fan, btw).

So is this type of mid-season reshuffling fairly common, or could this be the comeuppeance from what Bureau was talking about before? (Players unfairly benched, etc).

There's a reason you won't hear that from the mainstream media. It would be a pretty silly thing for them to report. To say, for instance, that he's leading in MI because of a single poll that gave him a 3 point edge there would be somewhat presumptuous Obama has a narrow national lead in most polls--that is something worth reporting. I'm a Jayhawk fan, but I'm not sure how much NBA game Chalmers will have. I guess he could be similar to Duhon--good defense with the occasional scoring outburst (although probably a better scorer than Du).
