Ugh, I can't believe a perennial Cy Young candidate is pitching like a Cy Young candidate. The trade we were all happy with when he was just a Cy Young candidate sucks now that he is pitching like a Cy Young candidate!

Intentional Talk is going to start airing on ESPN, allowing them to dissolve their baseball analysts to save money. I personally hope no one chooses to watch Intentional Talk on ESPN over MLB Network.

I mean, he's almost certainly not suddenly a good player now, but for this 2017 punt season, why the hell not give him regular ABs? What future does Cody Asche have with the Sox?

Holy s*** balls I was freezing out there, but man, the Sox were smashing everything. I like to tease my best friend that comes to these games with me (Dbacks fan) about Davidson. I pantomimed a "typing" motion in front of him and told him I was typing in the launch codes for Davidson. He laughed and rolled his eyes, and 2 seconds later Davidson crushed a dinger. However, I did also tell him Davidson would hit 4 HR tonight, so I didn't quite predict them all correctly.

I'll be there, bullpen bar, in my Moncada jersey.

I know someone who bought a Chevy Volt a few years ago, and he said he fills the gas tank on it like once every 4 or 5 months, when he takes a trip somewhere. He entirely daily commute to work and back was only like 18 miles, so he just charged every night and that was it.

I can't believe how bad they look with the puck. I can't tell if Nashville is just playing great defense, or if the Hawks are just this sloppy/slow/weak, but I can't recall seeing a great offensive chance via nice cycling and passing. It seems everything is off target or gets disrupted. They don't look comfortable with the puck. Also, that non-GI call was brutal. As they discussed before OT, Aardvark was not pushed it to Crawford, he was not pinched in to him, he did a drive by, went for his head, and tried to spin him. It was absolutely intentional.

I truly have no idea what to think of Mitch Roman. He is hitting like .350 since we drafted him. And he's only striking out 6% of the time this season. 3 Ks all year, although only 4 BB and no HR in his pro career. Seems like an extreme contact guy.
