I do love Kottaras patience at the plate though. Last 3 seasons he's had a 17.7% walk rate, 19.0%, and 15.8%. Over those 3 seasons, he combined for 149 games and a 2.1 WAR. He should be serviceable backup catcher if he wins the job over Brantly, Nieto, and Smith.

Padres get: OF Wil Myers (Rays), C Ryan Hannigan (Rays), P Jose Castillo (Rays) Rays get: OF Steven Souza (Nats), C Rene Rivera (Padres), P Burch Smith (Padres), 1B Jake Bauers (Padres) Nats get: SS Trea Turner (Padres), P Joe Ross (Padres). Trea Turner will be a PTBNL, since he was drafted in June of 2014, he is eligible to join the Nats organization June 13th, 2015, which is weird to me that he will get developed and instructed by a different team. Makes you wonder how that has to be for both Trea and his coaches. In my opinion, the Nats and Rays are the winners here. Nats traded Souza for Trea Turner and Joe Ross. Padres I think did the worst here.

And yes, Homeland is awesome yet again. I just love Showtime right now. Ray Donovan to Homeland to Shameless is a great 42 weeks or so. Can't remember what fills the spring slot.

I thought the Newsroom finale was fine. A little boring with all the flashbacks, because we knew the outcomes, but it was touching and everyone came out happy. Nothing too dramatic, nothing too crazy. I agree this last season felt so disconnected. They really did a disservice to the show by not going a full season, or at least even 10 to give us some main arcs. I really liked the first few eoisodes with the FBI-Neal stuff, but then that kind of went away so fast that I had actually forgotten about Neal until he returned.....quietly. I found it weird he seemingly arrived to the ACN newsroom during the funeral for Charlie. Why wouldn't he just go there? Why sit in the office with those kids while everyone else is mourning the loss? And how come there was no big reunion with Neal and the gang? They kind of just quietly brought him back from exile and then dismissed him.

As currently constructed, I think 83-84. Which would mean 10 wins added each of the last 2 years, which is significant. However, I think Hahn will add a C or 3B and maybe another SP before this is over, so I could see it being more like 85-87, depending on the addition.
