Well I got the Costco job pending a background check. They basically offered my 5 different positions. I finally accepted the 4th one, but may move to the 5th one because the hours are exactly what I'd want, 3pm-8pm. Just picked up a Thank You card for my current employer and just have to write up a letter for my 2 week notice and I should be finally out of that place. Now I just cross my fingers that they either keep me once the seasonal job is over, or I get a baseball job by then, because although Chili's will take me back, I'd really hate to have to go back.

I'm the commissioner of my league. Check out this awful trade that someone is trying to pass..... Russel Wilson for Michael Crabtree Bishop Sankey Wilson is ranked 5th in QB, Crabtree is ranked 33rd, and Sankey is 47th. AND Crabtree isn't even playing this week and he is texting me asking to put the trade through right away. I'm so sick of this dude. He is the same guy who I've been trying to trade Romo and Terrance Williams to, whom he said he is interested in, but then all he does is talk s*** about them through text. I offered Romo and Williams for LeSean McCoy. He replies "Yeah right man, Romo could get injured at any moment and suck again, and Williams is a bum." I didn't bite on his awful offers of Sankey and Brandin Cooks, so now he is going to try to rob this other guy of his QB because he doesn't want to go in to a 2nd straight week starting Carson Palmer. So do I just straight up veto the trade and probably get b****ed at by him for being bitter about our trade not working out, or do I try to convince the other guy that I can offer him a better combo and get him to cancel the deal, not stopping it if he chooses to let it go through? EDIT: Or 3rd option I guess is to completely ignore it and let it happen.

I'm not sure why nobody wants Justin Upton, unless the fear is that he won't sign an extension. He put up a 3.9 WAR last season, which is far above the $14.5M he earned last season. You can pretty much count on .270+ with 25 HR, and OBP around .350, is a very good baserunner, and can even swipe 10-15 bags if asked. He is a below average defender, but coming to US Cellular would help. I'd be all on board for Upton, at least over Heyward, considering how much cheaper you'd figure Upton to come in a trade. And if you can't work out an extension by the trade deadline, then flip him somewhere for a couple prospects back, or offer him a QO he is likely to earn that will net a comp A round pick if he doesn't sign the QO. I'd trade Montas and Sanchez for him.

I'm "guessing" the winners will be Hardy and Adam Jones. According to Fangraphs defensive WAR, the winners should be Hardy and Jackie Bradley. Sidenote: HOLY s*** JUAN LAGARES. He had 28 defensive runs saved! The next highest is only 14, half that amount. Woah. That would explain his nearly 4 WAR.

I've never seen any Avengers, any Iron Man, any Xmen, and other comic book movie I can think of really. It's not that I refuse to, it's just that I won't spend the money to see them in theater, and I've never taken the time to watch them at home. I've caught pieces of various Iron Man movies on TV, and I'd watch it all the way through if someone wanted me to watch it with them, but I can always find something else to watch.

Oh beautiful, what timing. Showbox updated today and one of the new updates is that they added subtitles. YESSSSSSSS. So now I can start S2 of Peaky Blinders and not be missing out on half the dialogue. And for anyone who watches the show but hasn't started S2.....there definitely was a gunshot at the end of S1. I just won't tell you who fired it at whom. It's spicy.

Also, picked up Madden 15 yesterday for $21 (after my $23 return on WatchDogs). I think I am regretting doing my Connected Franchise thing online. I am CONSTANTLY losing connection to the EA servers, which means it won't let me do anything in my franchise. Can't play at all without being connected. I'm wondering what is going to happen when I lose connect mid-game, or during the post-game load. Will it just lose my entire game? That's going to be a real game killer when I lose a 40 minute game because the server drops out.
