As I said a few hours ago in another thread, I would love to bring Uribe in on a 2 year deal, especially at the price that MLBTR suggests, which is 2 yrs/$12M. Uribe was worth 5.1 WAR last season, which is incredible and also unlikely to duplicate next season. However, if he even has HALF the season he did last year, he will easily be worth $6M a year. I'm not saying we get Uribe because I think he is in our future, because at his age he is not, but adding Uribe, a new catcher, and possibly a good CF for next season could allow this team to make a run in our division if we get some 2012 magic again. Because at the very least, we should be able to flip Uribe at the deadline to some team for a couple prospects, and that's a model I can get behind to help rebuild this system.

Holy s***, let's sign Uribe for 3B the next couple seasons. I had NO IDEA how awesome he was in 2013. I knew he played well defensively, but I would have never believed he put up a 5.1 WAR! MLBTR projects he could get a 2 yr/$12M deal. For $6M a year, he would easily be worth it if he has only half the season he did in 2012. At the very least he is someone we could flip at the deadline if he repeats his 2013 campaign, and at $6M a year he'd be a bargin for any time who needs a late season push from 3B. Sign me the f*** up.

If I wasn't already eliminated from the playoffs, I would be real pissed that I have Tavon Austin and his 31 pts at halftime on my bench right now.

Tavon Austin is just STUPID fast. He has over 300 yards and 3 TD 1 minute in to the second half vs. Indy.

I've now listened to most songs off MMLP2. It's a decent CD, but nothing great. I seem to like all the songs he samples off old tracks. I think my favorite song is Love Game ft. Kendrick Lamar.

My phone randomly goes on freakishly long battery spurts. It's not really an issue, but it's weird. Looking at my battery manager right now, my phone has been on the battery for 53 hours and has 55 hours left until I need to charge. My phone has only lost 3% of it's battery from last night. Weird.

Baseball America ranked Tyler Danish #2 on a list of "closest 2013 HS picks to make the major leagues". Kohl Stewart of the Twins org. was ranked above him. He was the 4th pick overall in June. He spent all 20 IP this fall in Rookie ball. In the same article. Adam Engel was ranked the 4th fastest player in the 2013 draft, Tim Anderson #3 and Toby Thomas #5 on list of the most impressive pro debuts for a JuCo player drafted.
