Not in to politics, but watched the debate and it sure seemed like Obama kicked Romney's ass.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Oct 16, 2012 -> 02:29 PM) I don't mean wireless for audio transmission or power -- I don't like wireless speakers ... yet ... and wireless power technology doesn't exist yet in most instances, I meant for internet access/syncing. No internet devices are wired in my house. The rest of it doesn't exist yet, so I don't have it...yet. That's why I was confused, I thought maybe you were the great-great-grandson of Nikola Tesla or something.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Oct 16, 2012 -> 02:04 PM) There will be a day when wired technology of any kind is something people have never heard of. Every computing device in my entire house has been wireless for years now, from the XBOX, to Computers, to Phones, to tablets, to televisions... The only thing still wired is my surround system. You have wireless television and XBOX? And all your devices sync wirelessly? That's pretty impressive.

Revolution "SPOILER" from tonight.... Well, that was terribly obvious that the Jason guy was Gus' son. As soon as they showed that Gus had a young boy, and the very next scene cut to Jason, it was quite obvious.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Oct 15, 2012 -> 11:55 AM) So it seems like external sd cards are having trouble in SGIII phones. Ive tried to 32gb class 10 and neither have worked. Ill update if I figure out the issue. Does the fact that it's an SDHC change anything? I know some devices can only read SDs, not SDHCs.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 15, 2012 -> 11:46 AM) LOL, that is unfortunate that you dont like it, seeing as it is the central storyline. Right.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 15, 2012 -> 11:40 AM) I somewhat agree with you, but at the same time there is a lot going on right now. Dexter and Deb, LaGuerta, The Ukrainian Mob. I think it had to happen to start some other things moving. I think Louis' blood in Dexters boat is going to end up being a really big deal. Also, I think either Quinn or Batista are gonna get killed this season. I was really hoping the Ukranian mob would go away. I'm not digging that storyline. Obviously NOW they are tied to Dexter, but in the past 3 episodes it really didn't interest me at all if they were looking for Viktor or not looking for Viktor. Even though my Louis theory seemed like it was kaput, I think there is still a chance it comes to fruition if Dexter tries to get them to believe Louis killed himself, since he just lost his job, his girlfriend, and didn't want to get caught for being a serial killer. But that would wrap things up too neatly, so I doubt it happens.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 15, 2012 -> 09:05 AM) A whole bunch of s*** is about to hit the fan. Louis's blood spatter on the boat is no small deal. I love that Deb realizes the necessity of Dexter, and i love it even more that he told her that he was the reason she caught so many criminals. Because it was true I'm disappointed that the Louis storyline is done though. Thought it had more potential, and it ended so abruptly.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Oct 15, 2012 -> 02:03 AM) James Cromwell. Oh ok, that Mellon guy. I didn't fully understand what was happening in those scenes. It seemed like they were discussing whether or not prohibition was/is a fiscally responsible amendment and deciding on whether to appeal it or not? And I assume that all the bootlegging people want to keep it a law, so they can continue to make bank off it illegally? Or is that not close?

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 15, 2012 -> 10:12 AM) Anyways regardless of title, it is a great toy. I can use it anywhere I can log on to google (PC, laptop, app) without needing to download the songs on to each unit I want to listen to music on. No synching or any of that other crap either. One download of a song makes it available across all platforms. That is pretty sweet, although I'm sure you'll need internet access to accomplish that, so it's not practical in EVERY situation.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Oct 14, 2012 -> 09:24 PM) And Boardwalk adds another great actor. Who? And whilst searching the title of this episode, I came across this similarly titled song by Eddie Cantor (on purpose, I'm sure). Damn, the actor who plays Cantor on the show really sounds like this guy.

I hate Dez Bryant with everything in my being. Romo hits him in the chest with a game-tying 2-pt conversion, and he drops it. f***ing idiot. -
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 14, 2012 -> 03:38 PM) Whoa! I'm shocked you replied with a rude comment. It was actually a sincere observation. Thursdays episode didn't feel different than any other episode in previous seasons. The show is always corny and goes for cheap jokes and one-liners. I've never even considered the performance from the actors, and the way he said "the Jenny character." made me think he is not a regular viewer of the show. But it's cool, I'll probably be forced to block you at some point soon anyway, since you clearly have a problem with me and are trying to bait me. Or I can just report you, like you reported me.

QUOTE (flavum @ Oct 12, 2012 -> 10:31 PM) Rienzo starting tonight. Keith Law tweeting he's at 93-95, with a sharp cutter. http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/gameday/y2010/index...mp;mode=gameday Wasn't he typically a 91-93 type guy during the season? Like Johnny Danks type velo? -
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 13, 2012 -> 06:17 PM) I've seen every single episode. I felt like an 8th grader wrote the script for that episode. The entire scene at the training camp was ridiculously idiotic and not funny. And the hospital scene at the end was so over the top and ridiculous that it became annoying. There seemingly were 5000 things happening at once with a s***-ton of one liners crammed into it all. Just made for bad TV and comedy. I'm not sure I could disagree any more. I thought it was hilarious.
-
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 13, 2012 -> 05:13 PM) I didn't find The League premier to be all that funny. Sure a couple of chuckles but overall disappointed. Pretty terrible writing and sub-par performances from everyone but the Jenny character. You must not watch the show regularly.

QUOTE (Marty34 @ Oct 12, 2012 -> 03:27 PM) Thy won nothing. So. That doesn't affect what happened in that current timeframe. When we were in 1st place for 120 days, no knew that the team would choke away the division in the final 2 weeks. That argument only holds water if we are all soothsayers. -

QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Oct 12, 2012 -> 12:47 PM) Ya man its the worst. Unless someone comes along and "sweeps me off my feet" I just don't care. Its been over 2 years and s*** still hurts me, everything I do reminds me of her. For the 3 years I was with her, I drove her to her "friends" house everyday after we hung out, turns out it was actually her now husbands house! what kind of s*** is that!! I never wanna go through something like that again! I agree with the apathetic part you are feeling. As sad as it sounds, I haven't had a girlfriend in 5 years now. It wasn't because of a broken heart, because I broke up with my girlfriend over her going away to school and being too far away from me, but I just haven't even cared enough to try and date anyone. If you guys remember from summer 2011 in this thread, I was with this one girl, Jazmine, for the summer. That was fun, but we weren't technically dating. Then summer of 2012 came around, and SHE was the one who wanted to be with ME, but I reversed roles and I was the one who never let us get too close. I live with 2 female roommates (and I did last year too), and they are always telling me I need to bring some chicks home and blah blah blah, but I never really care enough. I don't know what it is with me, but I'm not like "god I need to have sex soon!" It just doesn't bother me, and I rarely think about it, and I'm too lazy/apathetic to try and get a girl. I am certainly attracted to girls, that's not in question, but I'm just too lazy to do anything about it. Part of it is probably lack of self-confidence, but most of it is apathy and laziness. There have been girls that have had interest in me, in fact, one of them this summer that is absolutely gorgeous. But knowing that I was going back to school in a month, I didn't want to waste my time on someone I'd not get to see for 4-5 months. So I gave up, and one of my friends is now pursuing her hardcore. It bothers me a LITTLE, knowing that I could have MAYBE had been dating a bombshell who was in to me, and was a real cool chick, but the other part of me says it was the right move not to waste time and energy. Also, I should add that I am not the "let's go bang some randoms" type of person. If I want to have sex with a girl, it's a girl I think I can date. Sluts disgust me and I don't want to get mixed up with shady people. So for me, it's annoying to hear my roommates tell me to go f*** some girl tonight because in my head, I would have to know if I like this person before I would want to do anything with them. It's probably the reason I go for good girls and ones that look adorable, rather than ones that look sexy and easy.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 12, 2012 -> 11:12 AM) I met her last week playing bingo with coworkers and her mom. Her mom actually set everything up, because I ork with her too (not on the same floor, but there will be interaction between us), so it could be a sticky situation if it ends up not working out. But I've been off the dating scene for 2 years now, so I'm really excited about it and I'm most interested in seeing her away from her parents but still out of her comfort zone. How old are you? LOL. For your second date, you guys should go play canasta and then watch antique roadshow until you pass out at 6 pm.

Yeah, the League was, as always, awesome. And being a Cowboys fan, seeing two of my favorite players (Witten and Fast Felix) was awesome. Oh.....and Jenny finger blasting herself. Those vinegar strokes!

Nice, Tigers won. Now I just want the Orioles to win Game 5, and the dismantle the Tigers in the ALCS, and then win it all vs the Nationals.

QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 11, 2012 -> 12:50 PM) The throw beat him by 10 feet, but if you watch closely, the ball started to come out of Cabrera's glove. In order to get possession of it again, he lifted his glove and Drew would have probably gotten his hand to the base before getting tagged if not for Cabrera literally blocking the entire front of the base. Drew would have definitely been safe if Miggy wasn't blocking the base, and it was actually a very close play WITH him blocking the base because you can see he grabbed around the outside of the base right as he was being tagged, but then he pulled his hand away and try to get to the other part of the bag, so the ump probably thought he never touched the bag at all yet.
