Whatever De Aza is, he is NOT a homegrown Sox prospect, that's for sure. He was groomed well before he got here.

Just kidding about what Law said...... He ACTUALLY said.....Hawkins is the most exciting draft position player the Sox have had come through the system in a long time. He said Hawkins gives the Sox a good chance to finally develop a homegrown impact position player since Ray Durham in 1990.

I have ESPN Insider...... Olney said that maybe Ventura's good season is just giving Kenny more time to overhaul the 40-man roster. Bowden said Kenny has done a great job plugging the holes we had on the major league roster with Youk, Myers, and Liriano, but he needs to add more position prospects, and they need to do that before our "firepower" gets too old. Law said Courtney Hawkins is likely to be no better than a 4th OF, if he makes the majors, and the Sox and Kenny have yet again failed to prove they know what to do with 1st RD picks.

The reason Sale WON'T win it this year is because of innings. He is only at 150. He won't hit 200, while Verlander will cruise past 230. That, in a lot of people's mind, is MUCH more valuable.

But anyway, I would totally give it to David Price, King Felix, or Verlander. I'd put Sale 4th.

Bristol continues to be immune to offense. 4 hits and they were shutout. Snodgress had control issues today, but it didn't hurt him. 4 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 4 BB, 6 K 1/2 with a BB, and 2 SB for Trayce today. Nestor Molina.....not good. He was cruising through 5 innings. Had allowed only 6 K, 0 ER, 1 BB to 3 K.....and then fell apart in the 6th. Axelrod turned in a real solid start for Charlotte.

Counter Strike: GO just came out today. And for $15!! That's no joke. PC, PS3, Xbox, all for $15 and features CROSS-PLATFORM ONLINE GAMING. Just bought this for PS3. Somehow it's only like a 2.5 GB download. Must not have any sort of story mode or something, just online. Anyway, super excited to relive my childhood and play it.

OMG, why did I check this thread when I am starving and about to go grocery shopping....guess I'm eating Pizza tonight...
