  1. http://thebaseballcube.com/ Great website for looking up players/teams/hometowns, etc. They have almost everyone that ever played baseball on that site.
  2. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 01:52 PM) Rank them against their position counterparts. It's not pretty. You don't need to do that with Harrell. You just know he has no business on a major league roster. I mean, Fangraphs heavily disputes your inference.
  3. Sweet, we put in a guy with average speed at 1B to pinch run.
  4. Not a good bunt. Take it down a line, not right out in front. Ugh.
  5. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 01:44 PM) 200? Fangraphs is your friend. These are absolutely 10 of the worst 30 players in baseball. According to what, your hatred for this team?
  6. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 01:37 PM) Because he was included as well or because you believe he'll actually be better? Really? Because there was no reason to include him in that deal and because I think he will be better than Hudson. Yes.
  7. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 01:30 PM) The Chicago White Sox: home to 10 of the worst players in baseball: Juan Pierre Alex Rios Adam Dunn AJ Beckham Morel Teahen Pena Ohman Harrell 10 of the worst 200 maybe.
  8. Great to see Wilkins get back on track with a 2/3, HR, 3 RBI, 2 BB game.
  9. Burnside came back down to Earth today. Ended his streak of 4 straight 9+ K games.
  10. I'd have to think the Yankees will take him.
  11. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Jun 15, 2011 -> 04:46 PM) I might watch the last 2 minutes of it. That's all that matters. Lol, this isn't basketball.
  12. Hopefully the Sox score while I have the game on in-between periods of the Bruins/Canucks game tonight.
  13. QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Jun 15, 2011 -> 04:16 PM) Who the f*** was the mediocre infielder on the Tigers early 2000s I wanna say that Hawk always said "swung the magic wand" against us? I know Hawk always said that about Freddy Sanchez. We played them like 4-5 years ago and he always raved about his "magic wand". He wasn't really wrong though, that dude had about 6 bloop hits in that series.
  14. Much like the Kinect, I'd love to try to the WiiU at a friends house, but I would never buy it. The PS3 has been a fantastic piece of hardware for me, and I'll stick with it unless PS4 does something radical that won't work, or the price tag is $1000.
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 15, 2011 -> 01:43 PM) Again...which of those is unusual? We have only signed 10. Brewers and Reds have signed 14. So yes, for the Dbacks to have already signed 30 players is pretty incredible.
  16. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 15, 2011 -> 01:36 PM) That is a really random bump of a three month old thread. Yeah I agree. I thought this was a new thread for some reason. Shows how much I ignore the s*** players like McCulloch.
  17. The Dbacks have signed 30 of their 52 picks already. Wow.
  18. QUOTE (OilCan @ Jun 14, 2011 -> 10:34 PM) Check out the numbers from the Charlotte/PawSox game. Remember Andy Miller, the sixth overall pick by the TIGERS waaaaayyyy back when? K'd 10 in 5 innings. Give you a hint. Dallas McPherson was 1-6 with 5Ks tonight. In fact, Pawtucket K'd 17 Knights AND THEY STILL LOST! Dylan Axelrod.....Dylan Axelrod...Dylan Axelrod. Time to start the Helium Watch for this guy? I would be elated if he was 2-3 years younger. At almost 26, he needs to really impress the rest of the way out.
  19. QUOTE (Cali @ Jun 14, 2011 -> 08:26 PM) It would cost $500 million just for a retractable roof??? $100M actually. They should have done it.
  20. QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 14, 2011 -> 08:06 PM) You know much that costs? They didn't have any more problems with weather than any other team last year. The Minnesota weather thing is overblown. Yeah, like $10M if my memory serves me.
