QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jun 19, 2011 -> 05:47 PM) Humber is one good solid pitcher. He just keeps impressing everyone. He gets tired though about inning 8 Never a bad thing. If he is constantly making it to the 8th inning, then he is doing something right. -
QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 19, 2011 -> 10:01 PM) Awful ending to The Killing You think so?

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jun 19, 2011 -> 05:51 PM) If a couple of guys have a bit of a down second half, can he seriously vie for the CY? No, not at all. He won't have a second half like the first half he is having, but his control is sure going to help even when he experiences some bad luck that he is bound to run in to, as well as facing teams a second time and third time. -

What the hell is Collmenter even throwing up there? Looks like an eephus. It's just a big loopy junkball. -
Slightly more optimistic. Mitchell is really the only guy who has been a big disappointment. Everyone else either stayed the same, or has looked better.

Humber is really going to have to be brilliant today because he has a bad defense behind him, and Sox are facing a HOT rookie pitcher. -
So I tried watching The Tudors last night on Netflix. Season 1, Epiosode 1 starts off "Previously on The Tudors" and then shows like 1 or 2 minutes of all this quick information and important looking scenes. Is this really how the series starts, or has Netflix misnamed the episodes? I watched like 10 minutes and couldn't figure out really what was happening. It started with a play being rehearsed, and Rhys-Meyers naming some guy as Duke.

QUOTE (JohnCangelosi @ Jun 19, 2011 -> 04:24 AM) Ask and you shall receive: http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/mlb/gameda...33&c_id=cws This is Rios' 3 run homer, but if you click on "Mora's double to the wall" you will see the almost catch by the stealth elf. -

Yeah, Humber's number indicate he relies on his defense. I'm not a fan of Dunn in RF at all. -

QUOTE (JohnCangelosi @ Jun 19, 2011 -> 01:16 AM) I am not talking about Teahen. I am talking about Lillibomb. I don't want Teahen anywhere near this starting lineup. And if you think Lillibridge would be a hack at 3B, then so be it. I don't think he would. From what I remember of The Bridge at 3B, he was not very good, or at least did not look comfortable at all. -

QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 19, 2011 -> 12:58 AM) It was a key play in the game, but it's not worthy of top play or even highlight notation IMO since he didn't catch the ball. Damn, I'd like to see it. -
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 18, 2011 -> 11:49 PM) Anyone else think Tosh.0 has been on the decline the season? I have enjoyed the web redemptions, but the rest of it seems to be more extreme instead of funny. Yeah, but it also could be because I am not at school getting drunk with friends watching it. Hell, I hardly ever remember to watch anything when I'm not at school. We have Wallyball Tosh Tuesdays at school, so it's kind of hard to forget.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 19, 2011 -> 12:44 AM) Because he didn't catch the ball? Oh he didn't? I guess I missed where he said "attempt". -
Spencer Arroyo, my sleeper from last year, with a great outing. 9 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 K. Tracy Thompson went 2/4 with a BB. His 8th walk in his past 10 games. He now has 16 BB this month. Only 14 in April/May.

QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Jun 18, 2011 -> 11:35 PM) Don't forget Lillibridge who had a bad day at the plate but possibly saved the game with his leaping attempt to catch a potential game changing HR by Melvin Mora on a grooved 3-0 pitch by Danks. Danks then proceeded to get out of the 2nd and 3rd 1 out situation by getting Blanco to pop out and striking out a good hitting pitcher. What? Seriously? How the hell is that not in the highlights on mlb.com? -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 18, 2011 -> 01:38 PM) Ok, animal cruelty because of a baseball team? Not cool dude. I bet your dog looks at you with such sad eyes when you do that. Maybe I should have put it in green. -

QUOTE (Cali @ Jun 18, 2011 -> 01:34 PM) There's your out KW.... Get RID OF HIM. Side note: "He can make a lot of things happen" what a bald faced LIE that is... No he is right. He can make me slam my remote down in anger, he can make me yell obscenities at the TV, he can make me scold my dog for no reason, he can make me kick the neighbors cat. He can really can make a lot of things happen. -
QUOTE (danman31 @ Jun 18, 2011 -> 02:55 AM) I'm not even ashamed to admit that my social life will disappear for about 3 weeks once AC Revelations comes out. I can't wait. I'm playing AC Brotherhood right now. Everyone said it's a short game, but s***, I am like 5 hours in and I think like 18%. Maybe it's short if you just do the storyline and none of the side s***, and there is a TON of side stuff to do.

QUOTE (T R U @ Jun 18, 2011 -> 02:56 AM) I was coming in here to say this I remember in high school tossing up a golfball and hitting it with an aluminum bat and it easily going 500+ feet Oh yeah? Well I hit it 600+ feet! -

QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Jun 18, 2011 -> 12:58 AM) it's not a shake up. We are facing a lefty. It's the arbitrary I can give aj and jp a day off. Morel in the 2 hole? Alexei in the 5 spot? That's a shake-up. May not be here to stay, but at least he isn't copy and pasting the same s*** lineup again. -

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 18, 2011 -> 01:08 AM) I was trying to prove my point with Jacoby Ellsbury, then I realized he f***ing has 8 HRs already. I still don't mind leadoff hitters that may not have the power swing, as long as they actually get on base and steal bases efficiently. Which is why I was pushing for a Gavin Floyd/Brett Gardener swap so much. Hit .273 with a .383 OBP, and stole 47 bases in 56 attempts. -
Guys that are becoming legit prospects

Addison Reed has surely look great since being drafted. He is our most exciting player right now outside of the obvious Viciedo. -
