Crawford was absolutely nails in the OT. Simply beautiful. And Seabrook looked like pure dog s*** this game. Pure and utter s***.

2011 Films Thread
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 24, 2011 -> 05:35 PM) So 127 hours wasn't good. I didn't think it was bad, but I didn't like the fact that I knew what was going to happen, that he got out, and how he got out. So the whole movie I was just saying "Alright, get to the scene!" I think I would have liked it better if I didn't know how it would play out.

4/24 Games
QUOTE (danman31 @ Apr 25, 2011 -> 12:54 AM) Hopefully you also follow the FS twitter. We have daily box score highlights and try to pass along good links and point out hot and cold streaks. Stuff like that. Not all of it makes it here. It's nice to bury your head in the minors when the Major League team is struggling. Exactly. It's keeping me sane. Well, that and the Hawks.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 24, 2011 -> 05:53 PM) John Scott>Brent Seabrook is FAIL. For sure.

What would you do if you ran the White Sox?
I would tell Sale to pack his bags and move to Charlotte for the rest of the year. No sense continuing to hinder his progress while this ship is sinking. May as well try and salvage the future.

Seabrook is back tonight? I mean, we are 0-3 with him, and 2-0 without him. This just gives me another excuse for my friends as why I hate that guido douchebag. Lol.

4/24 Games
Milledge went 2/4 again. Mitchell also stole a base. Hopefully he is starting to turn the corner. Taylor Thompson is having a nice season. Pitched 1 perfect inning w/ 2 K today. Now owns a 0.93 ERA, 13 K and 3 BB in 9 2/3 IP.

White Sox vs. Detroit 12:10 on WGN
QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 24, 2011 -> 05:16 PM) I am indeed. I'm tired of a lot the showboating that you see and no, I'm not some grizzled old f*** who wants it to be like the old days. Miggy threw both arms in the air in a dramatic way, arched his back and then blew a kiss. If you didn't see it look again. It was an in-your-face to the Sox but that's just my opinion. In case you didn't know, the Tigers hate the Sox as do most teams in the division. I don't mind that at all, I just wish the Sox were as pumped about beating them as they are about beating us. Yeah, I saw it, but it just didn't bother me, I guess.

QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 24, 2011 -> 05:18 PM) per Cowley KW is making the trip to NYC and if things don't turn around a sacrifice will be made. Repeat, this is Cowley, so to be safe divide by 2 and doubt what's left. Make me kind of hope for a Yankees sweep, actually.

QUOTE (oldsox @ Apr 24, 2011 -> 04:15 PM) Does his batting average go to .100 or .200? If he goes 0 for 25, it's .100. If he goes 8 for 25, it's .200. Are you saying which does he get to first? I'd have to think .200, as he is likely at his worst right about now.

QUOTE (lord chas @ Apr 24, 2011 -> 04:05 PM) and correct me if im wrong im under the impression that all coaches contracts expire this season except ozzie I am pretty sure Walker signed an extension through like 2014 or something. EDIT: Nevermind, must have just been a nightmare. You are correct. http://www.barrybonds.mlb.com/news/article...ws&c_id=cws

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 24, 2011 -> 03:55 PM) In all honesty, the offense was even worse the first 6-8 weeks last season. But the pitching, particularly Garcia....kept us in it. And our bullpen and defense were much better as well. Through 22 games this year, the Sox have scored 94 runs, team BA is .242. Our ERA is 4.42, and our record is 8-14. Through 23 games last year, the Sox had scored 92 runs, team BA was .223. Our ERA was 4.57, and our record was 9-14 Through 23 games in 2007, the Sox had scored 95 runs, team BA was .225. Our ERA was 3.98, and our record was 12-11 The scary thing is that we are worse off this year than in 2007, when we lost 90 games.

QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 24, 2011 -> 03:46 PM) Blew a kiss to the sky and opened his arms. The same kind of thing you see Konerko do all the time. At the same time Valverde the pimp was going thru his motions. Are you really bothered by what Miggy did?

BTW, when was the last time a hitting/pitching coach or manager was fired by the Sox mid-season? Since I've been a fan, I can't remember.

We are averaging 3.7 runs a game since opening day's outburst. That's almost the bottom 5 in the league.

White Sox vs. Detroit 12:10 on WGN
QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Apr 24, 2011 -> 03:42 PM) I didn't watch past the last out. Was Miggy being an idiot? Not really. Just slapped his mitt, made a motions to the clouds, and extended his arms out in the air. Nothing worse that that douchebag Papelbon does after each save.

At least Thornton looked solid. Threw a TON of sliders. I think I only saw 4 fastballs, and everything else was sliders.

Peavy had rotator cuff tendinitis
Well, at least I should be out of school by the time he is ready, and can watch the game.

Pierre with a beautiful bunt single. s***, may as well have everyone do that.

White Sox vs. Detroit 12:10 on WGN
Fun fact for the day: The Blackhawks have the same amount of GOALS in their past 2 games as the Sox have HITS in their past 3 games.
