  1. That and the reports that Robert used to be chunky, and scouts weren't a fan of his as a teenager because of it. He changed his body to become the huge prospect he is now.
  2. Where is the down-vote button? Asking for a friend.
  3. Dunning speculation has dominated this thread, but in other news... Eloy - 1/3, BB Stephens - 6 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 3 BB, 9 K Collins - 0/2, 3 BB Luis Gonzalez - 1/3, BB Lambert - 8 IP, 5 H, 3 ER, 0 BB, 11 K Luis Mieses - 3/4, BB Lency Delgado - 1/4, HR, 2 RBI, BB Varnell - 4 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 7 K
  4. Personally, I love it, because I would likely never be watching any of these games unless I suspected the Sox were going to draft a certain player. But if the Sox were picking in the mid-late 1st RD, I wouldn't have even bothered. Because they were picking so high, I would have likely watched Oregon St and Florida anyway, due to Madrigal and Singer.
  5. I understand the sentiment, but I would also love this kid to end his college career as a winner and team captain of the National Champ team.
  6. And the steal of 3B was without a throw. He was dancing and hopping around at 2B and then took a walking lead, ended up just coasting in to 3B without a slide.
  7. No one has mentioned it yet, but Dunning took the biggest jump of any Sox player, possibly anyone on this entire top 100 board. He went from 92 to 56.
  8. I remember a trailer for that and it looked real badass. Kind of like John Wick, but with Tom Hardy's lookalike.
  9. Clearly it's the Zavala effect.
  10. Well, I got to go to volleyball. You guys are on your own for updates.
  11. Sac fly for Robert. He hit one to the warning track in RCF. Actually took a couple of pitches too. 4-1 Dash.
  12. That's way off. I'm watching the video feed.
  13. Collins takes a walk, obviously.
  14. Basabe, in his first AB, drops down a beautiful bunt, but thought someone ruled it foul or dead ball, and pulled up short of 1B. Announcer said he would have certainly beat it out, but instead it's an out.
  15. Joel Booker, in his first AB in AA, legs out a double on a line drive to the RCF gap.
  16. Did I mention that his double was about 2 feet from a HR off the giant 25ft CF wall? He's murdering the ball today.
  17. He's more than fine, he just hit an Oppo HR!
  18. Adolfo must be fine, he's batting here again.
  19. RutherBOMB.
  20. Forbes sure has made a lot of very good plays at 3B tonight. How's his defense supposed to be? He's made 3 plays in 3 innings so far.
  21. Robert grounded out (maybe) to SS in his 2nd AB. He may have beat the throw, but it was very close either way. So far, he has swung at all 6 pitches he's seen in High-A (One of them was a bunt attempt that he didn't pull back his bat in time for).
  22. FUCK, Adolfo just blasted a 2B off the top of the high CF wall, but was tagged out in between 2nd and 3rd as he pulled up limp and didn't even try to run back to 2B. Trainers out now. UGGGHHH
  23. Robert with a hard single up the middle on an 0-2 count in his first AB in Winston-Salem. He then stole 2B easily, and nearly got the pitcher to throw the ball away on a pick-off attempt at 2B. He was dancing all over the place at 2B, causing the P and SS to have a meeting about it.
