Well yeah, Twitter will likely have the pick before the TV broadcast does, but I like seeing the pick get announced, not reading it on Twitter. As soon as Twitter leaks the 3rd overall pick, I'll be off the internet until the Sox pick goes up on TV.

For anyone who doesn't have a TV near, but DOES have a Comcast Xfinity account, watching the MLB Network stream on Tv.Xfinity has less of a delay than watching on mlb.com

That's what I mean though. We will likely never know if the Sox ACTUALLY wanted Singer, or if Kenny was swinging his dick around. I guess if Singer turns out to be good, it won't matter, but it will bug me for a while until then, and certainly if he ends up being a bust. It's not that I am anti-Singer, but that I am anti-Kenny power trippin'.

Prior to that Fangraph info about Kenny forcing the Sox to take Singer, I would have been "meh" over the pick, but not angry. BUT NOW, after thinking Hostetler and the boys could all be shut down because Kenny gets what Kenny wants, that infuriates me.

I will honestly be UNBELIEVABLY excited if Singer goes in the top 3. I don't even want the scenario of "Kenny will wield his power and overrule the room to take Singer" to ever even be an option. I would rather Singer go top 3, than he go AFTER pick 4 because I don't want to think there was conflicts in the draft room over it.

Seems like a realistic middling prospect return. I was thinking of something similar to the Melky trade, so yeah, Medeiros would be close enough. I wonder if we could steal RHP Caden Lemons from them if we tossed in most or all of Shield's contract too. He's 6'6 lanky kid that was drafted 46th overall last year out of HS. Touched 98 in HS, sits 93-95. Pre-season 16th best prospect in their system.

I just saw this last night and I agree. You can see back in this thread that I was disappointed with the choice for Han, and was not excited to see it because of that. Well, he changed my mind. I still contend there HAD to be someone who looked more similar to Ford, but Alden actually got the mannerisms and attitude pretty good. Some of the lines he said and how he delivered them TOTALLY had me thinking "Fuck yeah, that's Han". The age still doesn't match up for me, but overall I was pleased. Solid movie. Better than TLJ, not as good as TFA or Rogue One for me, but close to Rogue One.

Yes. And as expected, it was all rented out again today. As was the fan deck. And Rev Brew was packed. So we just snuck in to the LF bleachers and stayed there all game.

He was certainly high on him before anyone else, but I mean in a prospect chat would he actually talk POSITIVELY about a guy, or just say what their weaknesses are and be too afraid to call someone an ace or an all-star. Like I feel like if you asked him about Madrigal, he would say something like "The kid is barely taller than me and can't even play college SS".
