  1. Gio sitting 91/92 on the fastball ?
  2. Pollock just hit a HR to tie the game in Oakland 2-2. He's still been terrible for Seattle overall.
  3. I'm so happy that our two most effective relievers by far are scrap heap signings.
  4. Last week that would’ve been a 10 run inning
  5. Offense looks good so far. Pitching is awful, as usual. A three run lead with Cease should feel like a ten run lead, but he's just nowhere near where he was last year. Getting hit much harder then we're used to.
  6. Ooh, if they're at home I might get tickets
  7. At this point all I wish is that Reinsdorf would realize his way doesn't work. Unfortunately, I assume Hahn's complete failure to rebuild is an "I told you so moment" for Reinsdorf.
  8. Benintendi hit that ball hard!
  9. Coming right after the Sox hitters
  10. Tim had a couple pitches to put in the air
  11. Good bunt. Now to strand Hanser at third!
  12. Or maybe…
  13. Just walk Buxton
  14. The Rays did a good enough job exposing this team but I would love to see more teams just completely disrespect the Sox and dare them to do anything.
  15. And here comes the STUDS in this bullpen
  16. Would be nice to have a bottom of the lineup worth a damn
  17. I think giving a homer up to Nick Gordon should be an instant DFA
  18. I’ll take this from Kopech any day. Offense needs to score.
  19. Looks like 3 runs in 8 innings to me. Watching to see if AZ fixes him - strike against Katz if so.
  20. Alright, we're looking at: Burger/Alberto 3B TA/Andrus SS Andrus/Alberto 2B Vaughn/Sheets 1B Grandal/Zavala C Benintendi LF Robert CF Eloy/Sheets RF, at least until Eloy is hurt, then Colas probably back up. Hamilton/Haseley backup OF Eloy/Sheets/Burger/Grandal DH
  21. I'm interested to see how mediocre to bad relievers perform after leaving the Sox. I'm starting to feel that Katz is really bad at bullpen management, but the last question I have is if its a talent issue (Hahn's fault) or if these guys go elsewhere and succeed, it's likely poor preparation and management (Katz's fault).
  22. Getting Anderson and Moncada back will help. Hendriks will really help, but I'm not convinced this bullpen will ever be anything but bottom 5 in the league. That'll kill any momentum the team can muster - just look at how many times the bullpen gave up a lead or put a game out of reach during this losing streak. It's criminal to have this bad of a bullpen for $10+ million more than they'd have spent per year to have Harper roaming RF for the next 10 years.
  23. Hahaha holy s%*# a 9 run inning. Unbelievable.
  24. This pitching staff is just unbelievably bad.
