Your 31-101 White Sox against the Texas Rangers 7:10 CST Game Thread
It’s not standard time until November, dipshits. No wonder why we’re losing 122.

Chasing Records — 121 losses, modern MLB record
In my opinion 40-122 would be the modern record, so 10-21 the last 31. I’m thinking they get a few wins more than usual when they get down to the last 15. We’ll see how bad the next 16 go. I’m hoping for under 40 wins. Let’s go all the way with this thing.

Chasing Records — 121 losses, modern MLB record
So, 4 weeks ago I predicted a “major league” team would go 4-18 the next 22, and then lose on August 25th. And by golly, they did.

That’s committing to a uniform number when you put 62 on your neck.

So if the Tigers take the first three, am I genius?

8/21- Sox at Giants, 2:45
Crochet vs Webb (somebody could do a nice visual) Yeah, Webb is throwing a no-hitter.

Sox vs Astros 8/18/24 GDT
There used to be games that got rained out after 5 innings that ended in a tie, but were made up fully later on. The stats counted. That’s why some players have played 163 games in a season.

MLB considering 6IP minimum for starters
I take it this is the “double hook” rule? So if it’s fewer than 6, you lose the DH? I like it. Train starters in the minors to go longer. It shouldn’t be a big deal if a starter goes 100-110 pitches every five days. And god forbid a guy has a no hitter and pushes to a 125 to create a memory once in a while. Do it.

Ky Bush to be recalled
Player 56 this season, tying the franchise record set last year. I think we could get to 65 before it’s over.

2024: AL Central Thread
AL Playoffs based on first 108: Twins at Yankees…winner plays Guardians Royals at Mariners…winner plays Orioles Sox are 5-5 vs Guardians, so it’s not like they’re the ones getting them the 1-seed. And the Twins vs Yankees again…they gawn.

The streak has reached 21. Raise a glass.
Just a reminder the last win was game 1 of doubleheader. They lost the three previous games, so the last 20 times they’ve left the park, it was after a loss. 37-125? I think it’s doable.

july 29 the sox are playing "baseball" against kc
I don’t know. Every player is an independent contractor at the end of the day. Getting an everyday opportunity is valuable. A lot of players don’t get that with the Dodgers.
