It would hurt if he went elsewhere and something clicks. It also wouldn’t be shocking. I could take him or leave him for a 2025 team that isn’t going anywhere. His price would need to come down.

Not sure if I believe it, but it would be on brand. Reinsdorf has seen his last postseason team as owner. I truly believe that. We’re in limbo until ownership changes.

Yeah, I don’t feel bad for Arizona. I’m hoping both 5 and 6 seeds go fast this week. MLB needs the powerhouse teams to battle it out.

I’m thinking he won’t actually be added to the active roster. He’ll just be around for the “big league experience”, which is a funny thing to say at this point. Kind of pointless to have him play 4 games at most.

Hopefully when this all washes out, we’re left with the Yankees, Orioles, Astros, and Guardians playing in the Division Series. Same in the NL- give me Dodgers, Padres, Brewers, and Phillies. Let’s have the chalk battle it out this October.
