The Charlotte game is on NBCSC. I think an hour delay.
  2. 3-12, but there’s always tomorrow.

    Flores picked him off twice.
  4. Terrible season. I just want a homer to look like a homer. The opposite field, flick of the wrist homer, shouldn’t happen. And some of the distances hit that are legitimate homers get a shrug from me because, duh, the ball is completely juiced.
  5. I just can’t see the Rangers not getting starting pitching if they’re giving him up. He’s only 25 next season.
  6. I looked at his similarly score thinking I would see Avi Garcia. His number one is Dayan Viciedo. Good talent. Would be interesting to see what the Sox would have to give up. Reylo?
  7. Would or wouldn’t? I could see TA back Sunday, then get a recovery day Monday.
  8. Burdi was used almost as a bonus pick. They were dreaming on using in him in September and October the year they drafted him. It was a stupid pick, but that was their mindset in 2016.
  9. Harper started so young. He's got an MVP under his belt. He'll probably get in. Same for Giancarlo Stanton. I think when it's all said and done, Mookie Betts and Paul Goldschmidt will have good cases. Yadier Molina is well regarded. Andrew McCutchen may have a shot. David Price, Craig Kimbrel, Aroldis Chapman...also a shot (no pun intended)
  10. Not sure if it’s my favorite, but I’m glad I have it... A ticket stub from Buehrle’s debut in 2000. Didn’t even know he got called up until he was warming up in the pen late in the game.
  11. Minoso is one of the biggest omissions, in my opinion. Jim Kaat should be in too. He’d have an AL Cy if they gave out more than one in 1965. Tommy John also would have got to 300 without being on some bad teams- Sox included. Plus the surgery- he’s famous...Hall of Fame.
  12. It was ok. The WGN special on Saturday was better than the speech. Garfien’s was a whiff. Lee Smith actually had a good speech. Mussina’s would have been good if he had the ability to emote when he speaks.
  13. The Sox finish the week with the 9th pick position. The Giants are 50-50. Remember that in late September.

No doubt, he could handle it. He and Robert will be in Chicago in about 9 months.

    Still no errors in Birmingham.
  16. Done with the AL East. 15-18 this season.
  17. Orioles are no-hitting the Red Sox, while Pawtucket is no-hitting Charlotte. (Palka double now)
  18. Cease will be a good one someday, but he wasn't exactly having a great season in Charlotte this year. Hopefully this is just good first year experience and he'll be better for it in 2020.
  19. Rays, Red Sox, and Yankees in 8-2 games. One of them is leading.
