QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 6, 2016 -> 12:50 PM) Friedell is reporting Bulls have no meeting set with Wade and that front office is in Chicago (contradictory to Woj's report that the Bulls will be meeting with Wade in NY this afternoon). For all we know, the Bulls have literally zero interest in Wade (and were only interested in getting one of him or Rondo). Although I don't think the Bulls end up getting wade, I would believe Woj over Friedell.

Rondo/Wade/Butler/Taj?/Lopez... That's some great spacing. The anti-warriors

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 5, 2016 -> 06:27 PM) David West is the most pathetic player I've ever seen in my life. Yeah, I don't think GS is going to have an issue filling out their roster with all the ring chasers out there.
-
QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Jul 4, 2016 -> 08:56 PM) If I were OKC, I'd move him this summer for the best package I could get. Team like Boston or Minnesota should be all over it. Boston maybe, Minnesota probably not.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 4, 2016 -> 03:49 PM) I want to see how GS replenishes their roster. They basically have no C and their top bench guy is 32 with a bum back. I also see Cleveland making a reactionary move to counter what's just transpired. I will say this much. LeBron is the undisputed GOAT if he beats THIS Warriors team in the finals in '17. Yeah, Lebron will never be the undisputed GOAT because of 2011. That will forever be a blemish on his record that Jordan never had. I'm also not too worried about it happening, unless the Warriors have major injuries. The cavs would have likely lost to the Warriors this year if not for the Draymond suspension.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 4, 2016 -> 02:04 PM) Durant went full blown BETA. He's a sackless b****. And the thing for me is I still think Cleveland is the favorite. Durant always shrinks when LeBron is the opponent, regular season or finals. Cleveland is the favorite?... You're high

QUOTE (Deadpool @ Jul 4, 2016 -> 11:59 AM) Yeah, but he didn't join a team that had JUST won a ring. The Heat had three assets when LeBron signed. This GS team was already the championship favorite with or without Durant. This is much worse than "the decision". I'm not saying it's better or worse, just that Lebron paved the way. Lebron had also come off back to back MVPs (while Wade finished 3rd and 5th in MVP voting those years). Durant finished 5th last year and is a 7 footer that missed the majority of a season with foot issues in the previous season.

QUOTE (JUSTgottaBELIEVE @ Jul 4, 2016 -> 11:46 AM) They were both terrible decisions IMO. But I think it's ridiculous that some are saying this is worse or far worse than Lebron's exit from Cleveland. I have spent a considerable time and have many friends living in Cleveland as my wife was raised there and trust me Lebron leaving was really really bad. Lebron's decision also paved the way for a decision like this. He was the best player in the world (Durant is not) joining two other top 10 players at the time (1 of which had a ring). That was the first time that really happened.

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Jul 4, 2016 -> 11:40 AM) So Barnes was replaced by Durant. Good god... 4 stars on one team?! Yep, all those open shots they were willing to concede to Barnes in the finals will now be shot by Durant. We also saw Durant play defense like a madman when OKC went small in the Warriors series. A new lineup of death of Curry/Klay/Iggy/Durant/Green is just video game stupid.
-
Barring injury, I'll have to give major kudos to Lebron if he can win one game against this team in the finals.

QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Jul 4, 2016 -> 10:45 AM) Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine 2m2 minutes ago Kevin Durant will sign a two-year deal with the Warriors at $54.3 million, league sources say, with a Player Option for Year 2 This is really interesting. Curry is off the books next year too. No way they can max them both out I'm pretty sure.

QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 4, 2016 -> 10:04 AM) Yahoo reporting Durant to Boston http://sports.yahoo.com/video/durants-deci...soc_src=default They could be the best dynasty since the 90s Bulls. I couldn't see this happening. I thought he would sign a 1+1 with OKC and if they lost he would join Boston after. This would be nuts.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 2, 2016 -> 06:30 PM) I just read on espn that the Celtics can swap first round picks with the Nets next year. Unbelievable. They also have the Nets pick in 2018.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jul 1, 2016 -> 02:05 PM) Terrible break for Sam Querrey. He is dominating Djokovic right now up 2 sets to none and the match is suspended for rain. Novak goes down. Burning through his challenges in that fourth set really cost him.
-
Anybody else been following the wOBA model picks that sportsline has been putting out (they used to be free on Twitter by the guy who created it)? I've been scared to jump on because I figure it's going to slump soon, but it has been ridiculous.
-
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jun 29, 2016 -> 11:23 PM) I can't believe i'm gonna pull for the Knicks next year. I'm kind of in the same boat, which is nuts. I'm going to be rooting so hard for the twolves and any former Bulls next year because I despise garpax so much.
-
QUOTE (shipps @ Jun 24, 2016 -> 03:48 PM) He isnt even capable. He has no charisma or social skills that would make him effective in recruiting anyone. Hey, maybe he can invite them to a gang bang he and his friends have going on.
-
I would rather them trade Jimmy and try to stockpile assets than win 30-35 games with Jimmy as the best player for the next 4 years.
-
QUOTE (shipps @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 07:57 PM) George Offman says that the Bulls are in LOVE with Dunn and seems to think they will get something done for him. But this is just Offman though. TFWIW Stein is saying their in the advanced stages in trade talks now. Things could get crazy.
-
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 07:07 PM) Thanks god the Twolves turned that down. Lavine is far from great. +1
-
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 07:04 PM) Bet they could have gotten the 5 if Dunn wasn't there. I'm sure Thibs absolutely loves Dunn given his amazing defense. Apparently they turned down Levine and Dunn for Jimmy. Wow. E: They as in Minnesota
-
So much on twitter about the bulls and sixers possibly trying to trade to 5 for Dunn
-
QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 08:05 AM) Bird? He wouldn't even get a shot off against LeBron. Larry Bird's career stats vs Scottie Pippen: 14 G, 26 PPG 8 RPG 6 APG, 50% FG and 87% from the line. Larry Bird's career stats vs Dennis Rodman: 15 G, 25 PPG, 8 RPG, 7 APG, 49% FG, 95% FT. Yeah, no way he could get off a shot against Lebron.... Jesus Christ.

QUOTE (TRU @ Jun 20, 2016 -> 08:38 AM) Well again, I didn't mean at this very moment.. But if he wins 2-3 more titles and a couple more MVP's, plus the finality of his stats there is going be a very strong case that he is the best of all time.. The dude is a freak, I don't think there's any reason to think he cant be dominant for 4 more seasons The likelihood of either of those things happening aren't very high, especially the MVPs. His only case over Jordan will likely be longevity.

Barkley was right
