  1. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 19, 2016 -> 02:51 PM) ? Just watching highlights and stuff. He's a monster. I can always hate, but still respect. E: He's still about to be 2-5 though E 2: These last two games have been insane. I also found myself smiling and applauding him when he blocked steph and talked s***.
  2. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jun 16, 2016 -> 11:01 PM) So the precedent set with Haslem and Amir Johnson is suspension. This is gonna get awkward. The NBA suspended Jones when he hit a guy in the nuts during the Raptors series, but didn't have the guts to suspend Draymond after doing it in consecutive games last round because the Warriors were down 3-1. No way they suspend Curry. JVG was on the radio and said that if the series was 2-2 instead of 3-1 Warriors that Draymond wouldn't have been suspended this series either. Hard to disagree with him.
  3. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 16, 2016 -> 10:50 PM) I don't understand how people can still dislike LeBron. He's awesome and humble. Best player since Mike... but humble? lol
  4. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 16, 2016 -> 10:49 PM) Barnes is a big reason why they've been so bad offensively. He's made 1 shot in the past 2 games. Yeah, and they're guarding him like he's Tony Allen. Most of the shots have been wide open.
  5. Warriors open up as 5 point favorites for game 7. With Iggy hobbled and a lack of rim protection with Bogut out, there's no way they can stop Lebron. The Warriors need to hope guys like Harrison Barnes can hit an open shot.
  6. QUOTE (Deadpool @ Jun 16, 2016 -> 10:39 PM) Agreed. If you lose by double digits, don't whine about officials. They were down what, by 10 when they called that 5th foul on Curry? That would have been a breakaway layup with momentum. It didn't determine the game, but foul calls like that can absolutely swing things.
  7. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Jun 16, 2016 -> 10:33 PM) Curry looks like a real asshole this game That 5th foul they called on him was terrible. The NBA gets what they want.
  8. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Jun 16, 2016 -> 08:53 PM) Cleveland is doing a good job getting Lebron into iso situations on him. That doesn't make anyone look good. They're hiding him on JR Smith because he's such a liability and he has been having issues even staying in front of him. He has just been terrible defensively all series.
  9. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jun 16, 2016 -> 08:45 PM) I'm assuming he is talking about his complete inability to defend. This.
  10. Steph got absolutely exposed this series.
  11. QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 04:50 PM) Oh so to hit his floor he needs to progress offensively and defensively? Hence the "barring injury". I never said he was there yet. The kid turned 21 4 months ago. He's close enough where a Jimmy Butler caliber player should be his floor.
  12. QUOTE (Deadpool @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 03:16 PM) Throw out the picks, I would do Wiggins for Jimmy any day of the week. I'll take the guy that is six years younger, is a just about as good a scorer, and has much higher upside on both offense and defense. Thibs has shown that he is good at developing players. I would never trade Wiggins for Butler, as I don't think many teams would.
  13. QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 12:57 PM) Wiggins is obviously very talented but Jimmy Butler is not his floor. Wiggins is already close offensively with a ton more upside. If he takes another step defensively under Thibs, which should be expected, he's already there.
  14. Barring injury, Jimmy Butler is Andrew Wiggins's floor. Absolutely no way the Bulls get him.
  15. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jun 13, 2016 -> 08:20 PM) K.C Johnson said the Bulls would for sure ask for Wiggins which is fair. I wish.
  16. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jun 11, 2016 -> 09:41 AM) Those Bulls teams actually moved the ball a lot. Post Jordan that did become a huge issue for a while though. Yeah, people don't realize all the movement and passing that was involved in the triangle. No true isolation team has ever really won in this league.
  17. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 9, 2016 -> 06:22 PM) Abrams granted 6th year Well we're going to see just how bad of a coach Groce can be. The lineup has quite a bit of potential and a ton of experience.
  18. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jun 9, 2016 -> 08:31 AM) You do realize those numbers are still pretty damn good right? And I still don't buy him being healthy with that knee. They aren't bad by any means, but many people were proclaiming this the best offensive peak ever. Those numbers wouldn't indicate that.
  19. It would be nice if the offensive GOAT could average more than 16 PPG in the finals. Amazing what some physical defense can do to a jump shooter in the playoffs. After posting an O-Rating of 114 and a PER of 24.5 in the playoffs last year, Curry is at 110 in the playoffs this year with a PER of 23.4.
  20. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 3, 2016 -> 08:21 AM) J4L already rolling out the "LeBron has/had no chance because of Golden State's depth" line. Well, maybe that will be the spin from his camp, but will history tell this time period as the torch passing from LeBron to a new generation of "drive, dish or shoot" assassins whose accuracy and teamwork/passing from the outside is going to force the 3 point line to be moved back again in order to balance things out once more (increased focus on defense, traditional block and rebound centers, more driving to the basket and drawing fouls, less European)...??? The league has been primarily drive and kick for some time already. Or at least one or two guys that can collapse a defense surrounded by shooters (think Dwight in Orlando or Lebron/wade in Miami when they moved bosh to center as another shooter)
  21. Nobody puts up triple doubles in finals losses better than Lebron. I'll give him that.
  22. It should be an interesting series. It's hard seeing the Cavs winning due to their defense. The Warriors are going to be running that 1/4 pick and roll with Love and Kyrie in it until Cleveland is forced to bench one of them for longer periods of time (likely love). Even Toronto was having success when running that against them and the Warriors do it better than anybody. Cleveland would have had a much better chance against OKC, but who knows what can happen. Golden State hasn't exactly looked unbeatable these playoffs.
  23. QUOTE (fathom @ May 18, 2016 -> 08:09 PM) Charlie Moore to Cal Shocking.
