Does Hawk know that Mark Teixeira is in the AL and is 10x better defensively at 1B then Konerko is? Anyways, this one doesn't look good. Hopefully, in a game I'll be at, they can win tomorrow. They usually hit Dempster around pretty well.

Just be above .500 BTW- I think Jenks, Buehrle, and maybe Dye and AJ deserve to be All-Stars.

All in all, fun series. Losing the first worried me a tad, but we took care of business. Nothing like 95+ degrees every day. Atleast the 2 trips to the Waffle House made it enjoyable.

Everyone here knows I'm pessimistic as hell. But hear me out, please: We went to Wrigley and went 1-1. Despite the Cubs being average this year, it's still a place that is never fun to play in as an opposing player. Beckham is starting to get hot, whether it's taking a walk, HBP, or getting a solid single to the right side. Getz was a HR shy of the cycle in these 2 games combined. Floyd is starting to really pitch and Danks has 2 straight great starts. Ramirez hopefully gets going again with 2 HR in 2 games. Also, Anderson had 2 hits today as well. Again, you'd like to think Cooper can help the pen. Thornton didn't look too good today, Jenks hasn't looked too crisp on his breakers lately, and Linebrink has been brutal. But Dotel has looked pretty solid and you'd like to think Thornton and Jenks can get back to normal. Now let's go to Cincy and beat up a bad SP tomorrow in Arroyo.

That 1st error given to Getz was on Ramirez. He pu**ed out of the way of Fontenot sliding into him and at the same time tried to bare-hand the thing. The next error in the 8th was a rocket that short-hopped him- that's a super tough play, if you've ever played at any level. This Reds series will be tough with Cueto, Harang, and Arroyo (in no order), but we should win 2 with how bad the NL is and how we've played on the road.

This makes the ride for me to Cincinnati oh-so-enjoyable.

Why does it feel like there's no chance that we win this game? Konerko, besides his looping single off Marmol, has looked awful this series. I'm guessing on Monday, he hits the DL.
