  1. Another win. I wanted 3, or 2 at the least, points these past 2 games and we got all 4. Sweet!!
  2. QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ Dec 20, 2008 -> 11:44 PM) pick 2 of 4 runnings backs Westbrook Lynch Foster Chris Johnson Westbrook- on fire lately. Lynch- Denver's run D is pitiful.
  3. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 19, 2008 -> 01:51 PM) Malcom Jenkins would be a nice pick for them as well. Basically has locked down half the field this season. I still think Brown is worth a few more years in a Bears uni. That's who, in my mind, might be the only DB taken ahead of Mays.
  4. I still am in shock that Detroit handled San Jose the way they did last night. 6-0?! s***!
  5. All my bias put aside, it's a shame that Taylor Mays won't be on the board when the Bears pick, unless they lose these last 2 games. The guy is a 6'3, 230 pound physical phenom. He runs a 4.35 40 and for his size, that's incredible. Teams have literally stopped throwing his way, and I have a feeling when he steps on the field January 1 and has a huge game against another boring Big-10 team, that will cement his spot as the 1st or 2nd DB taken in the draft. So, yes- I think we should part ways with Brown. Sure, our S's aren't that good as a whole but we don't have a true FS. Kevin Payne goes for the huge f***ing hit every chance he has instead of just tackling the f***ing guy. I think the Bears will address the FS need in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd round of April's draft.
  6. 9-1 after an Adams tally. With 4:50 to go, will we get 10?
  7. I get 2 for being a STH but I'm about 80% sure they're going to go on ebay for $650 each.
  8. Isn't Danny Granger a 2010 FA, too? I'd love to get him, as a Bulls fan. EDIT- never mind, I forgot he just got a 4 (maybe 5?) year extension.
  9. The Hawks remind me of the Bears- every game, it seems like they disappear for half a period or so.
  10. TO will be playing for the Titans next year, and he'll ruin what they have there, too, once Young struggles. I really do hate the Cowboys. There are a few guys I like (Romo, Ware, Barber) but there are so many asshats (both Roy W's, TO) that it makes me dislike them.
  11. The Bears must f***ing hate the 3rd quarter. The last 2 weeks, I've frozen my balls off sitting there, watching the ineptness (is that even a word?) of the offense during the 2nd half but the 3rd quarter in particular. Ugly but I'll take the win.
  12. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 6, 2008 -> 02:52 AM) then grossssssssssssssss Pierre sucks major donkey balls. I'd rather have Owens play, and I hate the s*** out of Owens. He hit .280 last year with 40 SB's and an average (.330) OBP.
  13. Who would you guys rather get in 2010- Bosh or Wade?
  14. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Dec 9, 2008 -> 11:25 AM) Stewart or Addai for sure. ^^^^^
  15. Utah will be lucky to sniff the endzone on Alabama. I would have liked- OU/UF USC/Alabama Texas/Penn State Boise State/Texas Tech
  16. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 8, 2008 -> 01:43 PM) I have to go with the Clippers and the Expos. The Clippers are just legendary in their silly decisions. The Expos meanwhile, were so badly run that they no longer exist. The Expos were great in the 90's and they do exist- just in another city with another name.
  17. Even Cherilus has played well for Detroit and he was picked after Williams, too.
  18. Versteeg will probably be suspended for Wednesday for being an instigator under 5 minutes.
  19. QUOTE (bighurt4life @ Dec 7, 2008 -> 10:11 PM) No, I'd like to think that one of Getz, Betemit, Lillebridge, or Nix will be able to give us good production from that position. I would, too, but I'd prefer to have a guy in there that we know is going to hit .300 with a solid OBP. Plus, maybe in 2 years, then Nix, Lillebridge, or Getz will be fully ready.
  20. I'm with palehosefn here. I can not believe TT didn't get a BCS game. Unreal.
  21. What does everyone think about Mark Grudzielanek? He can be our starting 2B, and he'd probably only cost around $3 million per year for 2 years. Last year, he hit .300 with a .345 OBP. He's a very viable #2 or maybe even a #1 guy. I've never really paid attention to his defense, though. Yes or no?
