Rose looking pretty bad on both ends of the court.

**2015 World Series - Mets vs Royals**
Colon just doesn't have the stuff to really strike people out anymore. You knew the Royals were going to make contact. Granderson made one hell of a throw though.

Ugh. This game's probably over.

Wright's defense has been really shaky.

QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Oct 28, 2015 -> 12:07 AM) Colon has always been a big boy. Go look at his rookie card in 97 and pictures of him with the Indians. Even during his first stint with the Sox, he was in much better shape than he is now.

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Oct 28, 2015 -> 12:05 AM) he is doing fine. He's made the Mets look bad tonight, but Young's pretty hittable. Teams that have his release point figured out clobber him.

When did Bartolo get so fat exactly? He actually used to be in shape in the late 90s and early 2000s. Orlando's had a ton of big hits, bet he gets one here.

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Oct 27, 2015 -> 11:18 PM) Royals using Young who is suppose to start game 4. Young sucks. I think it's in their best interest not to start him.

QUOTE (Pants Rowland @ Oct 27, 2015 -> 12:48 PM) Kind of tough for Burke to retaliate from that considering he was a sitting duck waiting for the throw. He ended up in the hospital for observations and had a mild concussion (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1847744). The problem wasn't whether or not Burke should have retaliated from the fetal position, but more that Hunter should have received a fastball in the ear hole in his next at bat. Yup, he deserved to get plunked. If you deliberatlely try to hurt a defenseless player, not only should you be ejected, but if you're not, you're getting a pitch somewhere that really hurts.

Happy Anniversary!
QUOTE (woods of ypres @ Oct 27, 2015 -> 12:10 AM) I was 15 and live in the heart of Tigers, and Indians territory, needless to say I talked a lot of s*** the next day at school. Hah I was 15 too.

Happy Anniversary!
QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Oct 26, 2015 -> 12:24 PM) What a day. I turned 7 the day after they won it all, on the 27th. Needless to say, that was one of the best birthday presents EVER. This is how I know we won the WS at least 10 years ago haha.

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 26, 2015 -> 11:02 PM) Wasn't that Jamie Burke? Worst part about it was he just took it and didn't retaliate in any way. Yup it was Burke. I get my crappy backup catchers mixed up sometimes.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 26, 2015 -> 09:26 PM) Torii Hunter retired today. Half of Twitter praising the ballplayer, the other half criticizing the bigot. The guy was an ass hole. I'll never forget how he blatantly ran over Josh Paul in 2004.

The pilot for The Man in the High Castle was really good. The full series releases on November 20th. Edit: episodes 1 and 2 are streaming this weekend.

ALCS- Kansas City Royals vs Toronto Blue Jays
QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 23, 2015 -> 11:28 PM) What about on Navarro? Whatever I hope the Mets steamroll them. f*** THE ROYALS I thought those pitches were more or less identical.

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 23, 2015 -> 11:21 PM) That ump really f***ed up a good game that last inning. What the f*** was that s***? I can't wait to see the pitch f/x location on those two pitches. There's no way those pitches were even close. Edit: It's right here http://www.brooksbaseball.net/pfxVB/numloc...;pnf=&zlpo= That ball's a quarter of a foot outside.

ALCS- Kansas City Royals vs Toronto Blue Jays
Jays just couldn't hit with RISP. This umpire calling two obvious balls as strikes really hurt them too. It completely changed the Revere AB.
-
ALCS- Kansas City Royals vs Toronto Blue Jays
That high and outside strike screwed Navarro and Revere.

ALCS- Kansas City Royals vs Toronto Blue Jays
This umpire is giving the high and outside strike.

ALCS- Kansas City Royals vs Toronto Blue Jays
Alright second and third. Just need a fly ball. Base hit will probably score Pillar too.
-
ALCS- Kansas City Royals vs Toronto Blue Jays
Just need a medium depth fly ball. Pompey has the speed.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Oct 23, 2015 -> 10:57 PM) Bautista had a brain cramp...threw to second instead of Goins down the line. Jirschele was going to hold up the runner, Cain. He most likely forgot who was running. Very few guys can go from first to home on a ball like that.

Ugh Osuna's choking hard.
